At that important appointment wouldn’t you call a meeting with the heads of your dept. and require them to bring you up to snuff with exactly what has and is happening in your new position so you can go forward to run an efficient and cost effective dept. in the govt. for the citizens of the country?

Minister Anand gave viewers that that she was shuffled into this position of accountability but does not want to be associated with any of the stink of Arrive Scam. Instead of answering the question, she deflected to the same RCMP investigation that her fellow cabinet ministers tried (unsuccessfully) to prevent from occurring. Mr. Barrett's analogy of shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic is spot on!

Among federal civil servants there has long been bouts of laughter aimed at Cdn adults. But recently that amusement has soured at the sight of looped rope collars in the hands of a few Cdn adults "If the people fear their govt there is tyranny. If the govt fears the people" ..well thats a good thing.
It would be cool if we could have a smaller government that doesn't waste tax dollars like they are an infinate line of credit. I'm sick of our federal government and all they do. All they can do is raise taxes and become more and more bloated and inneffective.

I understand there was a shuffle in the liberal party, BUT, there are some very important questions that need answering by the RIGHT PEOPLE who were in that position at the time of the offense. Anita was not in that position at the time, the person who was needs to be sitting there answering these questions or at least accompanying her at the table so these questions can be answered.
