Given that she is high level as heck it makes sense that it results in better summons for her.

@@einfangirl2351 were not because enri has commander stats and were lower stats when she summon the first ones? it was supposed that ainz did not know of this because there were no comander in yggdrassil who will use that goblin horn because they think it will be some "stupid" action, but if they do it then they will summon this goblin army. Also they said that YGGDRASSIL were pretty big, and too much pay to win items, but they even did not catch the 50% of the items of the game and their uses.

Her "letting out a sound" was just a giggle of sadism because she thought the village was guna get wiped just as their rise was starting. @Archedgar is right, and Ains even surmises this himself right after Enri uses it. Its much more likely that Enri has increased skills that buff the outcome of using summoning items, than Beta helping a human with her summoning instead of just killing everyone herself.

it's suggested in the LN that Enri met certain unknown conditions for the horns to summon the army, conditions that noone in the game ever discovered, or so Ains theorized

There's also something to do with the first group that she summoned and how much she worked with them and even befriended them.

Yeah someone on reddit pointed out that one of the unknown conditions is probably goblin only, but in the new world, we saw that goblins adopt other races into their clans and treat them as their own with the hobgoblin kid. So enri is an honorary goblin, and she gained general class from leading the original goblin troops, so she also fulfills the "general" portion of the "horn of the goblin general

With this Army she could rival most of the other Nations. A single Deathknight would massacre Hundreds of soldiers alone so the Redcaps are already worth thousands of soldiers. THe other Goblins should be between level 20 and 30 as well.

To be fair, ainz didnt know it would summon that many. He thought it would have summoned a few, like back in the village. But no.

Also guides DOESN'T exist, that's literally the kind of game it was. People die in the real world just to get as much edge in the game as possible. Even between guildmates of Ainz Oal Gown, secrets are kept between themselves.

They are roughly on par with ainz's death knights. They have higher attack, the knights have higher defense. And we see several times how brutally overwhelming the death knights are. On the plus side, the redcaps cant set off a zombie apocalypse so thats a saving grace here. :p

It's alright, they fixed the outlines when the 3D models is viewed from afar, back then the outlines was consistent in all angles and from any distance, which is so cathartic to look at, look at Ajin and Berserk for reference.

@@tobiasbersia4641 you are correct however they would do it at VERY heavy casualties she has 13 red caps and those are like level 40ish, keep this in mind as I go on Brain Unglaus one of the most powerful swordsmen the humans could present was only level 30-32 (for the humans of Overlord level 30 puts you in the realm of myth and heroes) the average solder would be about level 12 if they are experienced, a combat-tested commander or leader would be level 18-20 even the standard dragons would be a fight as a lesser dragon maxes out at level 25 with dragon kings (old and experienced dragons) maxing out at level 40 (the lords are exceptions im not accounting for in battle) the only ones that would be able to take the goblin army without taking moderate to severe losses are the Elfs with their levels ranging from 30 (for civilians) to level 60 (soldiers) but they are so far away that they would take casualties from supply disconnects and the Goblin army (to exclude the Red Caps) is on average level 27-28, with the standard soldiers being around level 25 and commanders being closer to level 30 so in conclusion yes your assessment is correct but she is strong enough to carve herself out a small kingdom and as long as she is careful, she could easily be viewed as a respected power and would be resistant to most human nations attacks

The Dragons we have seen would perish because most of them wouldnt be able to take out the Redcaps but it would severly weaken Enris Army in the process. In the Novel several new Kingdoms got introduced that would be able to more or less easily defeat the Goblin Army albeit with high casualties.

I think is interesting how Lupusregina (Beta) alone can beat the elite goblin army. Just puts in perspective how OP is Nazarick.

@@ginoye8620 /hand wiggles maybe She is level 59 so she is higher level than the goblin army, but the elites are I think in the 35-40 range and I dont think she has immunity to physical/magic damage below a certain threshold so if she couldnt run away and had to just manually crush it, she might get dragged down in the end. Thats the interesting thing about the maids, they are pretty much the only named npcs in nazarick that actually COULD get killed by the elites of the new world. Im not talking the black scripture demigod types, but like gazef or brain or the blue roses. We actually see the blue roses (mainly evil eye admittedly) take down entoma. And that was half the team.

@@chrishubbard64 to put things into perspective of strength levels the redcaps are at around lvl 40 while iirc gazef is around lvl 30 so 1 redcap is stronger than most of those who are considered the strongest in a nation, the only one afaik i can think of that has a chance is evil eye which if i remember correctly is at around lvl 50

Nope. Turns out, like a great many things in Ygdrasil, the horns were something the players never actually figured out how they worked. Turns out, if you have a build built around commanding NPCs, say for example, a drill sergeant, which Enri gained levels in naturally, it buffs the crap out of them, and gets you much higher leveled guys. Case in point, the first one she used summoned 19. This time? She got 5000 goblins, several of which had EXTREMELY difficult to unlock classes.

@@fanusobscurus4309 Possibly a faction grind as well. Its a mystery as to how it happened, we just have theories that we obviously cant confirm ourselves. But yeah, taking total garbage tier items and finding out they had at least one secret that turned them into mid level trump cards is insane. Yeah its still nothing to a max level like ainz, but to someone in their 40s and 50s its a massive zerg swarm of troops that can actually be dangerous to people of that level.

They do have some decent leveled people but most of them are from Slane Theocracy... though nothing even near Nazarick

Its basically the third strongest military in the new world. The level differences are freaking nuts. You saw the spearmen literally bouncing off the basic heavy infantry units. The magical bombardment crew are all spamming third tier magic spells, and the elites are so strong that they could face off against a fully geared gazef and win.

For one thing, the goblins that Goblin Slayer always fight has below average intelligence and most of the time act on instinct. Against and army of educated goblins, he has no chance with his disposable gears.

The village was rebuilt and expanded. The villagers lived in harmony with other races like Ogres, Goblins, Hobogoblins and even Dwarves. The village is now almost as big as a city. Their fortifications and defences are now so great that it is making it difficult for even Mare to sneak in undetected. Their military strength is second only to Nazarick and Slane Theocracy. Enri is their overall leader and unofficial Queen of Carne.

Don't think, that this is a spoiler, because this is never mentioned in the anime, but just be aware that miniscule spoilers are ahead. Though this is from the books, that are going to be in the movie, thus it might get a minute of screentime in the movie. In short bits in the books there are mentions, that these goblins do need food etc. So the village had to expand greatly with a huge amount of additional fields, wells, smith's and other stuff for goblins.

Lol you're worried about food, she just acquired the best army in the new world outside nazarick. Also because they're summons they won't dissappear. So they can continue to serve her descendants. Those recaps alone each are like lv 40 plus.

Which would make sense, as the village is a strategic asset for him with Nfirea's potion lab, as well as being a symbol as the first settlement to become part of the Sorcerer Kingdom, and have shown total loyalty to Ainz even when threatened. At this point it's possible he could reveal he's undead to them and they wouldn't care.

If I could recall, it was lightly mentioned later in dialogue from lupis in the show, that she kind of added her breath somehow to the mix when they were being summoned. Which is why such an army of that size appeared in the first place.

@@blueninja9263 one of the theory is that she builds a “reputation” with the goblins, which she’s been doing with the ones she originally summoned. It was never explicitly mentioned in the LN or the anime/manga.

I thought is was a domino effect the horn can summon only goblins lv 50 and lower. The goblin tactician is lv 50, but had thr special ability to call in a goblin army

@@dinovoldo544 it was indeed never mentionned but the author did say that there was three requirements but never mention them. However, knowing that Yggdrasil is secretive and never explain anything (player have to figure it out somehow), i guess the three requirements are hidden in the name of the object: "Horn of the goblin general". "horn" would imply it is needed to be used to call for help (the levels of the summoned goblin could scale based on the opposing side "threat level"). "Goblin" would imply that it would call Goblin (rarity of the jobs could be tied to the reputation level. it's a matter of who is willing to answer the call, bad reputation would likely bring outcast while high reputation would likely bring rare type, like paladin or strategist.) "General" would imply that it require the user to have some kind of leadership skill ( since it's a summon type it would only summon as many as the user could lead. so the level of organisation would depend on the user skill type and level.) when Enri used the first horn, she would barely meet the first requirement and have no malus from the other two. But when she used the second horn she had experiences in leading people (as village chief and commander) and also had very good relation with the goblin she had summoned earlier so she already cleared two requirements. Barbo attacking the village cleared the last requirement making it possible to draw the horn full power. On a side note, the effect were not found when used in yggdrasil because it was nearly impossible to clear any of the three requirements. you loot it from goblin so your relationship with them would already be in the negative. when you get in the slightest trouble with some enemy it's fight or flee, people would rarely think about using the horn in that kind of situation. And finally leader class would rarely be seen as efficient in Yggdrasil (unless what you lead is summoned npc) so the chance that a leader/summoner would use the horn instead of his own troops is slim.

@@karhedin personal i figured using the horn class uped her from villager to goblin general ^^, i dont think we ever see a character sheet for her after she uses it. also generally summons dont get stronger after their summed, her starting ones did tho, maby there master picked up some class bonuses to goblins under her control. Also i love how enis is like holy shit this is awesome

I do think the point is to showcase the massive upgrade, and that its not just having a lot of goblins with various classes, but specialized ones too. That being said, I think there was probably a better way to do it though, I'd have loved for them to do more than just a marching animation loop.

But even in our world we do it. We say black man, Asian woman, we always use adjectives you are just never realize it.

@@chrishubbard64 Well, the books mention that there was a "secret criteria" for getting the Goblin Army, but (at least the translated version I have) doesn't mention entirely what those criteria are (they may have been edited out or left in the web novel format). So to Ainz, they were trash because no gamer had ever tried using the whistles back to back or had found the right conditions. I do consider it a fun little nod to game designers who throw in little bits to really reward the players who explore the game to its limits. Kind of like the first guy to find Knights of the Round in Final Fantasy 7, after all the work to get it.

These were items he had piles of as they were basically junk pulls from an in game gatcha system that were only useful at really low levels so far as he knew, then to have THIS happen and not understand how or why was hilarious. And yes, its left a mystery as to how it happened though good theories abound such as rep gains with the goblins, levels in various command type classes such as military ranks and so forth. Its why a part of me held out hope there would be a third tier because the goblin strategist even says its a portion of the goblin army meaning there is more. We already have death knight level elite units under her command, imagine what the next set might hit! Doubtful they would be level 80+ but even reaching the low 60s would mean theoretically they could handle anyone but ainz and his guardians going all out as level 60 is the cutoff for their ability to negate magic and melee damage from lower levels. It might only be scratches but with a large enough army its potential for being devoured by ants. :p

Well goblin slayer probably could’ve confidently beaten that army taking them by surprise in their own lair. But goblin slayer isn’t built to actually fight a massive horde out in the open by himself.

Goblin slayer would have no reason to actually fight or hate this army. Remember, the reason he hates goblins and kills them in the first place, is because they're monsters who hurt people. These ones know honor, serve their master and their master wishes to help people. Therefore they're not evil - therefore there's no point in killing them.

If it is a new type he'd study them, meticulously. And then set up some trap. Though I don't see him being able to set up a trap to kill an entire army, lead by an intelligent strategist to boot. Overlord goblins are vastly more intelligent after all.

Pleiades --- Level 46 lowest, 63 highest (excluding Omega who is 100) Death Knights --- Level 35 (40 defense, 25 offense) 13 Red Caps are all level 43. And each legion has a level 33-40 commander(11 of them). Goblin strategist has the highest level and he has commander classes that will make them way stronger. They would win against 2-3 of the pleiades probably. But some pleiades have teleportation magic so it might be tricky. I mean, Narberal could cast Maximized Chain dragon lightning to kill all the stronger ones. Azuth used the same spell to one-shot a dozen Death Knight who had 40 defense. Meanwhile Shizu and Entoma would get utterly defeated.

in all honesty i believe in a ranking of Armies Enri's army ranks currently at 4th Ainz at first followed by the Royal kingdom and the Theocracy ((Re-estie DID have 4th but ..yeah you saw what happened))

a Redcap goblin is pretty much the supreme assasin

@@BelegornHK only in Goblin hierarcy the best assassin is a Hanzou lv 85 and the ultimate is Nishikienrai one of the 41 beings :)

remember that 5-10 lvls is a pretty big difference and the pleiades are Equipped with much stronger magic items and equipment, no way a maid goes down imo, meaby entoma cuz she is a support class
