It is so sad to realize that the best president was betrayed by the countrymen that he loved so much.

I shared this post on my FB account, and am also encouraging others to do the same. Hopefully, kahit tapos na ang election and we have successfully installed another Marcos in the seat of power, maintindihan ng lahat pano tayo ginago ng mga aquino at mga dilaw. We are the ones who should declare "Never again!" Tayo ang entitled magsabi nun, hindi sila. We should not let them fool us again. Congratulations to BBM! Well deserved victory. I was made a fool of the textbooks. I adored Cory before, because it was what "said on the textbooks", now the truth have been told. Very straight conversations, pure experiences and real emotions. As a 2000 born Kabataan of Philippines, I am now little by little learning what was the true Philippines before. I was abolished by the dilawans, now I am not regretting on my first voting experience for the elections, I chose Marcos.

I watched this a year ago before BBM decided to run for president. And I told myself, if he run for President, I will vote for him. And thank God, he did. I will come and comment back when he sit in the office. ❤️

I can feel that JPE can finally give it a day & have a peace of mind if BBM wins the Presidency in 2022. Seems like he is destined live this long for this purpose...to help the young Marcos and clear FM name and remind us his legacy to the Filipino people.

My twentieth birthday was yesterday. I grew up hearing stories from my grandparents about how great it was to live under former President Marcos' administration, and I knew I had to believe them. Because they were present while I was not, and I am confident that my grandparents would never lie to me. But hearing these things from people who had been there firsthand, as well as those in positions of power in the government, was truly eye-opening. Thank you so much. And today I wanted to be in a administration with another Marcos leading, not for any other reasons but just for the best of our country, The Philippines.

"Disperse the crowd without shooting them." This shows how President Marcos loved his people... those same people who stabbed and betrayed him.. It's unfortunate that these were not taught when we were young. Definitely heartache whenever I see any footage on this event.

“Disperse the crowd without shooting them.” I cried when I heard him say this. Despite the ridiculous amount of hate that was being thrown at him all at once, he still stayed loyal to his countrymen. Yung isang naheart break lang dahil nagcheat yung partner, sobrang sakit na. Paano pa kaya yung milyong milyon mong mga “anak” na mahal na mahal mo ang tumakwil sayo dahil sa maling akala? Hindi ko maimagine kong anong sakit ang naramdaman ni Apo Lakay during those times. Gusto ko pong magsorry sainyo, on behalf of my fellow Filipinos from the past to this day. I am very sorry, our dear President Marcos. We will make it up to you.

You know when this old man is telling the truth, considering his age, he still remember the dates accurately. He's very sure of what he's talking about. He's talking based on experience. Very sensible conversation. This is an expose and it all make sense now.

..due to Toni's recent interview vlog with Sen. Bongbong, my curiosity about what really transpired during martial law increased..and so I asked my dad yesterday about his personal experience during that period of time..my dad said, "It was September 1972 when martial law was declared and the military are everywhere."..so I asked him again, "dad, how was it living during the martial law?"..my dad answered, "everything was normal during the martial law and we felt safer, protected. It was because the NPAs number grew bigger and started hiding in the mountains (we're Igorots btw) and our homes started to be unsafe because of the rebels. So martial law was declared and life became normal."..i also remembered asking the same question to my in-laws before, maybe about 2 years ago..my in-laws said, "As long as you follow the curfews and you're not 'pasaway' then there is no problem with the martial law. It was safe to walk on the streets."..and my in-laws are from Tarlac..i am not discrediting the bad experiences of those who claims to be victims of the martial law regime..but what I am saying is, the martial law period was really painted in a very bad light and was considered the darkest part of Philippine history because of all the bad stories published again and again due to the victim's testimonies..they may really have bad experiences and I won't question what they went through..however, are we really sure now if it was really Pres. Marcos who caused their pain and sufferings?..there is obviously an abuse of power but I am more and more convinced that it wasn't Pres. Marcos..I now realized that it wasn't as bad as what it seemed to be..aside from my father and mother and in-laws and my lolos and Lola's whom I've personally asked (they had a first hand experience of it, my Uncle was born during that time and was even named Marcial because of it), there are more people now who claims to have lived in a better life during the martial law period as compared to the next administrations after pres. Marcos was oust from his office..seeing interviews like this then makes things clearer and I am confident that in due time, the truth will be really be revealed..is it really revisionism as what the yellow movement is claiming?..or is it really the truth and the yellow party is just afraid of facing the consequences of manipulating the truth and the Filipinos for almost 50 years now?..personally, as far as what I've read and heard and seen on videos, I'm more convinced of the latter.. THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE...❤️

I'm so glad that the teacher of my history teacher in elementary was a scholar so the history that was told to us was more accurate than in the books. I'm also glad that the historians that thought the speaker in our school trip was also not biased to anyone. I'm thankful to my tito who was in the media who taught us the behind the scenes of the media. I'm glad that everything that was taught to me 'till now are the truth and I'm glad that I didn't sleep on them even though I'm not into history and politics before because I love learning! I am a millenial, on my school days iba yung turo saamin. True that the history was distorted and i'm so glad na madami nang lumalabas sa social media na wala sa libro. And now naiintindihan ko na kung bakit sinasabi ng lola at mama ko na noong panahon ng martial law, maayos at masagana noong panahon ni Pres. Marcos. And especially, mura ang bilihin at nageexport pa ang Pilipinas ng mga ani.. sana bumalik ang pamumuhay ng mga Pilipino tulad noon, para naman hindi na tayo mahirapan sa mga nagtataasang presyo ng bilihin. Kahit para nalang sa mga susunod na henerasyon.

Naiiyak ako out of joy dahil buhay pa si Sen. Enrile. He will be turning 100 soon, and I very much hope it will happen. Grabe, kung iisipin mo andami niyang naging purpose sa buhay niya. May you live happily in your remaining time.

I re-watched the interview after watching Maid in Malacanang. It is true that the history was distorted to favor one group. Who can tell that after more than three years after this conversation that BBM will become the 17th President of the Philippines and the truth started to unfold. I was teary eyed watching this and i feel sorry for judging the Marcoses before..like others I was also fooled by the text books and news before against them including Sir Enrile that he was a traitor.. His memory was all precise and detailed....With this, misinformation would not further spread to future generations. I never even voted any Marcoses as senator or even as VP candidate. Rewatching this and showed this to my mom. Her entire story about the Marcoses were indeed on point with Mr. Enrile's. My mom was a househelper of the then retired Col. Edmundo Dizon. The Colonel loved Mr. Marcos so much because of what he has done for the development of our country. He also told stories about how the NPA and yellow movement were forming a coalition to oust Mr. Marcos and his allies. The Colonel's exact words were, "Pag hindi na si Marcos ang presidente, babagsak ang Pilipinas." And here we are, 35 years later.
