Man, I really hope this game is going to be a kickass combination of MMORPG with good Survival game systems and house building. Hope this game is going to be a great succes.
This looks amazing!!! I seriously can't WAIT to get into this game and start building! Great job! However... Is no one going to talk about that ONE missing block in the roof? It bothered me SO much! xD
oh shit, the same style of house as I want at the moment, I'm just struggling with the height, not really knowing yet how high to put it, but seeing it "small" I have to admit it gives it its charm, shit, I'm hesitating now x)
What's the orange area surrounding the house? Is that the maximum area you can build or is it more like, currently your fire place reaches that far and to build further you need additional fire places or something? In Valheim you had to have the work benches close enough to build but there would be no other limitations.
Valheim's "low-rez" style hurts my eyes anytime I spend more than a few minutes building. This is beautiful. I'd compare it more to a "grown-up" EQ Landmark.
It's a nice house I'll give ya that. could benefit from some alternate materials tho. do they not have wood structures in this game? the base of the house is great in stone but wood floors on the second level, stairs and railings would tie it together a bit better. but that's just my opinion
Both titles scratch a slightly different itch and offer something slightly different. Personally I don’t enjoy the graphics in Valheim, so this is a day one replacement for me 👍🏾
@@Lucpol1986 The graphics could be better I'll give you that, but the game is just one Gig in size where this one is 60. I myself, don't have a problem with Valheim's graphics, but to each their own.
@@Temulon The size is remarkable indeed! I have tried to ‘get into it’s multiple times, but it was a struggle every time - I do feel as though I may have missed out however…
@@Lucpol1986 I've just bought Enshrouded on Steam because it dropped today, they even had a sale and it was 10% off. I'm building a small house and already I don't like the look of the wood or the color. It's more detailed than wood floor pieces in Valheim but lacks the warmth of the wood color in Valheim. Enshrouded is okay though, I've only played it maybe six hours so I've not even left the area where you build your base. I think I'm going to like it. Both games have good points and bad. I think it's 30 dollars, half the price of a triple A title and just as interesting.
@@TemulonI have two 2TB SSD’s so download size isn’t a problem for me. I enjoy valheims gameplay and mechanics but the graphics/art style get old after a while
like valheim you mean with same idiotic mechanics and rules ? for example when we want build simply medieval stone forge we need collect shitty magic stone from underground ?
The roof placement in this game is amazing. You can literally shape it piece by piece. You get roof blocks just like any other blocks you need to construct with and you can right click to remove a piece and left click to add a pice. The construction hammer building is just to use preset block orientations to make building go faster. You can completely customize the way you want the holes for your windows to go or add roof blocks at the bottom of the roof presets to extend it. Even in this video he could have neatened up the roofing by just equipping the roof block and adding and subtracting blocks where necessary.
