Swatching the Ensley Reign Cold Moon Palette! I don’t often buy indie brand stuff but this one really caught my eye. There are 10 mattes and 11 shimmers. The mattes are all very similar in consistency across all the colors but the shimmers come in a few different finishes.
7 of them are flakier duochrome/multichrome shimmers with large sparkles and sheerer, topper-like opacity, 2 are metallic with silver reflects, 1 is a metallic multichrome with holographic sparkles, and one is just a regular metallic (but still beautiful). I’m still getting to know all the shifty ones so take my shade descriptions with a grain of salt.
SNOW DROP - Flaky/sparkly shimmer with holographic sparkles. Silver to light green shift.
WINTER ROSE - Light warmish pink with a matte finish.
AURORA - Flaky/sparkly shimmer with holographic sparkles. Berry to orange to green shift.
ORITHYIA - Warmer violet with a matte finish.
SNOW FAERIES - Flaky/sparkly shimmer. Pale blue-green to purple shift.
GARNET - Deep matte brown with strong red undertones as the shade is sheered out.
FORBIDDING - Metallic warm pinky-purple with large silver reflects. More opaque than the other shimmers.
MAUJA - Pale greenish nude with a matte finish.
SATURNALIA - Flaky/sparkly shimmer with holographic sparkles. Light gold to green shift and a pink base color that stains the skin a bit.
CATMINT - Medium cool dusty purple with a matte finish.
KHION - Metallic multichrome with holographic sparkles. Green to gold to red-violet with a light blue base color.
TRANSFORMATION - Medium matte grey with subtle purple tones.
WOLF MOON - Metallic shimmer with large silver reflects.
MOTHERS’ NIGHT - Deep brownish grey with a matte finish.
SNOW CRYSTAL - Flaky/sparkly shimmer with holographic sparkles. Light pinky purple to green shift.
COLD MOON - Medium muted sky blue with a matte finish.
BOREALIS - Flaky/sparkly shimmer. Greenish bronze to purple shift.
WINTER SOLSTICE - Pale muted green with a matte finish.
KALLIKANTZAROS - The lone regular metallic with all small shimmer particles. Pale blueish silver.
REBIRTH - Deep matte grey.
STORM FAERIE - Flaky/sparkly shimmer. Deeper teal to purple shift.
