Great video bro. I just got a mr61 with the original manuals and case for $150 in immaculate condition 👍 I’m definitely going to use your video for future references!
@@Gluttonite thanks man! the only downside is one key doesn’t work.. but I’m hoping once I pop open the bottem and clean the ribbon cable with with alcohol it might help 👍
@@joseph395 mine had a problem with the power supply since replaced (with a ZR76 power supply). Let me know if you get it fixed in case I run into the same problem. You could always use a midi controller worst case scenario.
@@Gluttonite yeah these ensoniqs are a pain when it comes to power supplies, replacing batteries and capacitors... for sure! I’ll definitely keep you updated I’m hoping it works, and that’s a great idea as a controller.. I have a asr, ts12 and a eps too so using it as a midi controller can definitely work well with the other machines 👍
@@Gluttonite So I opened it up and didn’t realize I wasn’t suppose to unscrew all the screws on the bottom, so I had to put everything back together 🤦♂️ the rubber contact wasn’t pushed in all the way for that dead key so I assumed that must’ve been why it wasn’t working so I cleaned it and pushed it in but still no luck 🤦♂️ but on the flip/positive side I realize it came with the rare MR Flash ROM card so I guess that makes up for the dead key for now Lol
My brother you are a GREAT TEACHER. I have had that board since 1997. I am a songwriter. I have created a many of songs on this keyboard. What made me buy the board was the Bass sounds and the String sounds. Yeah 25 years later its still kicking. P.S. Take that heavy keyboard off that cheap stand. LOL 2/10/2022
Is it best hooking Mr61 to a computer to use bluetooth studio monitors, or use an oldschool receiver & record instrumentals to write lyrichs on cassette tapes?
