Thank you Horacio! I had the VFX back in the day, but many times I got the message of the "Callibration keyboard" issue (Which needed solder some cables in the PCB) . Not sure if was solved after that with the SD series, but so far this one seems to work fine ;)
La mitica Ensoniq SD1 era una spanna sopra a tutte le altre tastiere presenti nel 1990, costava 4000000 di Lire, era una workstation facile da utilizzare, anche il sequencer era ottimo e facile da utilizzare, ho poi acquistato un MOTIF ES ma non ho mai avuto lo stesso feeling che ho sempre avuto con la mia Ensoniq SD1

Hey Charlie! Thank you ;-) At this moment, I don't have the synthesizer with me . I'll probably get it back next month. If you send me an email, I'll be able to check when I receive the synthesizer and I'll try to obtain the sysex file to send it to you. However, I think those patches are pure factory presets. Cheers!
Nice demo! I am really planning to buy the SD-1 as my first synthesizer ever. I love the wavetable and the "outdated" lo-fi acoustic samples... Would it be worth purchasing one and making songs using only it?

I'm relative new to Synthesizers and cannot play piano. Are there any dedicated Synthesizer courses to learn "special" synth songs, chords or something like this? I mean, it's different than piano.

I've got one of these. Love it. However.. for some reason some of the sounds have just disappeared from the bank sets. Like all of the ones you played at the beginning of the vid. Any idea on how to access them or is something fried?
I did the factory Reset procedure . But Stacked , Digi Moods , I'm alive, Soft Words, Actric, Apollo, red Sky, Raium, Zirconia, Star Drive are no where to be found.
@@bphillips06the battery on keyboards is usually deep inside, soldered onto the pcb board. Not 100% sure on the sd-1, hopefully since it was one of ensoniqs later boards they moved onto a slot battery. Battery is used for saving and storing custom patches but not sure if that's your issue here. You would also have a low battery warning text on powerup. Since reset didn't bring them all back, Only other option I can think of, maybe an eeprom (the operating system) replacement. Also located deep inside but should be a slot connection, no soldering
