Wow, someone commented that this was Bacon, which as far as I know is the founder, or at least one of the first to do Balintawak. If it's true, it surprises me to see it performed this way. This seems very rigid and slow from the Balintawak I have seen and practised. But I am very new to the style, so please correct me if I'm mistaking. BTW, the sound was awesome!! :D
The point is of course to stop the opponent from generating his force as well. The style then relies on the left hand manipulating and controlling the opponenent, while striking fast and often.
