My interpretation is that we don’t have to be or accomplish something extraordinary to be valuable. We may not have done anything on a grand scheme to change the world. It's amazing how the atmosphere in the crowd changes during this song. Everyone stops and listens in awe, it really connects to people and is one of the highlights of the show. Beautiful song.

My wife gave birth to my little daughter recently and this song I had an immediate relation to after seeing my daughters eyes for the first time, the lyrics sum up the emotions I felt being a father to my little girl.

Playing this right as December 31st turns into January 1st. This is the first time in my life I'm spending New Year's completely alone. I'm turning older, all of my friends either live with their partners, or in different parts of the country. I'm as left out as I can be. Sitting alone in my apartment, listening to the sound of fireworks behind a closed curtain, playing to this song that brings me a little bit of comfort.

this song means so much to me, i remember my first shikari show, whole night getting thrown about in the pits and feeling part off a family. shikari will always have a very big place in my heart for getting me through the rough patches in my life, sadly my ears arn't too good anymore and for me to go to another concert i will need to wear £400 ear plugs and being poor it seams like years away when i'll be able to go to another one, but you can bet once i can affored it shikari will be the first guys i see. i doubt you guys will read this but if you do i just want to say thank you from the bottom off my heart, i know this will relate to alot off other shikari fans too.

My long distance boyfriend showed me this song the time we first met, when our time physically together was reaching an end. He just sang it to me again to help me cope with the sadness of being apart. Despite the distance, I've never felt so loved, supported and accompanied in my life before

So the rarest of occurrences just happened, upon listening to this I just felt the undying need to close my eyes and so I did . Suddenly I just spaced out and I felt like I was transported into a another place and it was magical. Enter Shikari, you have never failed me, NEVER and I just personally want to thank all of you for this magnum opus. Fuck, you guys are amazing.

this is criminally underrated

went to their first arena show in Nottingham on Saturday. it was truly incredible. and rou's performance of this song blew me away. it was so beautiful.

Enter Shikari has evolved so much since Take to the Skies to make songs like this and Constellations. The power and emotion is unbelievable and anyone who says that TTTS is better is living in denial of Rou's superior songwriting nowadays. This entire album is a profound emotional ride if you're willing to let down your walls and push your ego aside.

This song reminds me of my ex, she suffered very badly with depression and decided to leave me in order to get better, I always wanted her to put her weight on my shoulders so I could help her, and being apart from her is really killing me, she now refuses to speak to me because I selfishly got angry, I've tried apologizing but it will never be the same.

I heard this song for the first time while I was tripping on acid and contemplating wether I should marry my partner. I learned it on guitar, played and sung it to her when I proposed to her and in a month I will play it at our wedding.
