Bike park Wales is one of the largest bike parks in the UK offering a whole host of MTB trails and huge jumps including the black jump trail called "ENTER THE DRAGON" which has just reopened after having some trail rebuilds.
I am joined by Kara Beal & free ride legend Chris Smith. The day started riding the famous red trails including vicious valley, A470, and insufficient funds before riding enter the dragon and willy waver. There are some of the most difficult trails in the UK at bike park Wales ranging from huge, fast gap jumps to rock gardens, technical drops and root sections.
In this video I am riding my fully custom Haibike ALLMTN 10 EMTB upgraded with Halo Wheels & Gusset components.

Totally rad riding Tom! It would be cool if you put out a video of your jump technique on various jumps in real time and 240fps. I'm not talking about "let me teach you how to jump", but rather I'd like to see in slow motion what you're actually doing. When you were following Chris in the beginning it almost looks like he was straight "bunny hopping" at lift off, whereas I tend to think of it as a rowing technique, a slight push into gut of the jump then a pull right at the top. You just never seem to mess up a jump. In fact maybe showing them from 3 different ways, start with a full speed side view, then your first person view, then the super slow-motion side view. Maybe even annotate little things about what you're doing if they occur to you.

I’m 44 and want to hit Enter the Dragon, never hit owt that big before though, I’ve cleared most of a470 with no one to follow, none of my friends go 11:56 that big but are mostly mid 50’s and the fastest of us is 60 😂 tbf. How much harder/scarier is E the D compared with A470? You looked happy to be back on it❤

The top 2 tables are a good progression from the bottom of A470. The jumps in the woods are a fair bit larger!
