Fun fact: When revealing his cybernetic arm, Professor Membrane says he thought sharks were his friends, but knows better now. Later in the movie, when the children sing GIR's peace song, we see a few of them have befriended sharks. This implies sharks can be friends, they just don't like Professor Membrane.
probably made in Toon Boom/Harmony seeing how a lot of animators use it these days anyway, and can both make animations faster, cleaner, sharper, and do whatever you really want. honestly they probably could've gone with the old style wtih Toon Boom just fine, but seeing how styles change over the years to make them look sharper and brighter to appeal to the masses then what invader zim used to be looking more dark with darker colors. after all it was a movie to appeal to both old and new generations.
3:05 So, he thinks this is all in his head, but he's still giving it his best effort and is actually distressed that he's struggling with this... The inner machinations of his mind are an enigma.
@@humanshrek1836 you don’t like this movie? And ngl it only looks like an anime in 2 scenes. I watch a lot of anime and this style is just silghty more cutesy and polished.
@@ZipTheSilliest It was decent, it was just more of a disappointment than what I thought. It didn’t have any Invader Zim charm to it at all and just felt like cringe from Steven Universe, considering it literally has the same art style in the movie.
Yeah, even the Almighty Tallest on the Massive are alive. Sure, they're screaming in terror due to the horrid reality warping insanity inside the Florpus hole anomaly, but they're definitely alive ^^
Yeah, that's so weird, right? I remember seeing Yu Yu Hakasho and Sailor Moon and thinking "How could they be in middle school?" This was me re-watching as an adult. Anyway, by looks alone, they'd got to be at least Sophomores or Juniors in high school. Though, Asagi's personality would lead me to think she's 12.
Several times throughout the show Zim is shown to be mentally incapable of perceiving any reality he doesn't agree with in some way. He doesn't lie to himself or come up with some self-serving bullshit, if what's happening doesn't agree with him, he'll literally create an alternate reality in his mind and that's what he perceives. The best example is Walk for your lives.
This movie honestly blew my mind with how well it stuck to the humor of the original show. Also- If I ever have a son I'm going to use the quote "BEHOLD, MY BOY-CHILD." to introduce him at least once or twice
Glad Netflix approved what the hacks at Viacom couldn’t and that was giving a satisfying conclusion to gems of cartoons ahead of their time and got cancelled too soon
