Honestly, it's kind of impressive that even has hard as they were data mining the town, Ron is so far off the grid they still couldn't dig up anything on him and had to fall back on his kid.

Yes but unfortunately Ron is a hypocrite. He says he is a libertarian but he has quite the authoritarian streak, what he said about Gryzzl being a private company was true and his wife using their software on her computer gives them the right to access the info she puts in to their database. Lots of third party browser, security and privacy minded software exists for those who are willing to put in the effort. No one is forcing Ron or his family to use proprietary software.

Right to privacy is a real thing, and considering how much effort Ron puts into staying off the grid, if he can’t keep his life private, who can? Big tech companies are becoming monopolistic, and that in now way aligns with libertarian philosophy.

A subtle thing i love about the scene with Ron is the drone has 3 shot patterns in it. Meaning presumably, that Ron shot both barrels into the thing and then reloaded and gave it a coup de grâce. Seems pretty Ron.

Excellent observation. I could point out that none of those seem to be of correct orientation for shooting down a hovering bot and that the wad-hole would not show up on anything but paper or tinfoil.

All those dents are in the top tho, he likely would have shot it from the ground. So all those dents are probably him unloading on it out of anger after he already shot it down.

One of my favorite parts of the last season was introducing Gryzzl as the main antagonists of the the last season, it really gave a lot higher stakes towards the final season and I think made the feud Ron and Leslie have a more indearing and coming of age vibe to it
