In this video I covered the Enter The Gungeon Co-op World Record, held by the infamous Napalm and his friend Gingam. We revisit old tricks and show off some new ones, and along the way we learn something about the power of friendship (or something like that). @Frewqasdf - BS I play with my younger brother a lot but in every game I do better by myself I like playing with him but sometimes I get frustrated by how much he suck and he’s only a year younger

@@frewqasdf I've learned that's what happens when you invest too much time into a game. If your friend doesn't invest the same amount of time, you won't enjoy playing with them anymore

@@aratherlargerodent But it's also on a gameplay level as playing with a friend gives you less guns and items and the camera follows both you so if your all at the bottom you wont see the top until you both go up

Enter the gungeon seems to be more difficult with friends, as it completely whacks your tempo. You also can get stuck on the edge of the screen. Great video!

Chef's kiss. It's great to see content being made about this game >:D Also, the Wiki did not rank the Combined Rifle as B tier; the game does. It has an internal system of weapon quality so that better weapons will drop depending on what chest is opened :0

Glad you enjoyed! I actually had no idea the ranking system originated from the game and not the EtG wiki, though in hindsight it makes a lot of sense bc of the chests :P

@@ThatHomieDemon Yeah, B tier just means you’ll only find the Combined Rifle in Green chests. Chest/Item Tiers are: D (Brown) -> C (Blue) -> B (Green) -> A (Red) -> S (Black)

10:51 I just watched the original run, yeah gingam is like “we should go right” and napalm is like “keep in mind there’s two long pathways (on this floor)”, and then napalm is like “let’s go left” and there’s the unexciting translation you didn’t need lol And I could be wrong for sure

I tried to do the speedrun with a friend the other day and we got a time of 15 minutes, but we didn't record because we were just testing, now that we see that we have possibilities, we will always record the games, and try to beat the record! (it's easy to say 😅)

Just wanted to say, the quality of your script and editing is fantastic, however, your mic isn’t lol. If you had better audio quality it would really help to tie together the production value achieved through other aspects of the video you clearly put lots of time into.

I appreciate the criticism. I’ve been trying to figure out how to adjust my mic settings for recordings, it’s tricky but hopefully it’ll be better in the next vid lol

can’t co-op speed runs be “cheesed” and turned into a regular speed run if the main character dies and becomes a ghost and the cultist is left alive? The cultist gets the Number 2 buff negating the enemy hp buff in co-op and they also get a speed buff as long as the main character stays dead.

I thought about what you were saying and the clear time of regular rooms is pretty good as two characters but when going to the boss room you would have to find a way or know for sure where the boss room is so you can tactically die and if not you would have to die by falling into a pit which can result into time loss also not considering the good rng needed for the cultist to clear the boss easily

@@ThatHomieDemon You can play coop with a program called Parsec. You connect to the other persons pc and play with low latency.

I was going to custom make EtG stickers with an artist and then have me and the artist write a little message on a note thanking you for being a Patreon. It’s been a few months now and I’m currently working on remaking the Patreon as a whole.

It comes with the Bullet character, which you unlock by killing a characters past and then by finding harmless Bullet Kin across future games. I recommend checking out the Gungeon wiki, it explains all this in way more detail than I'm capable of.
