The music gets more and more intense the further you go into the game, the first floor seems like a joke and then at bullet hell your heart is racing so fast you can barely keep your hands on your keyboard
I've been playing Enter the Gungeon for a little while, and the furthest I've gone is the third floor. As a Cave Story fan, I want Polaris, but to get it, I'd have to beat the Hollow 20 times. I can barely get past the second floor; how the hell am I supposed to even reach the fourth floor, let alone beat it 20 times?! But I know, deep down in my heart, that it would only serve to make hearing this for the first time in-game all the more satisfying, and I suppose the same could be said about the fifth floor's theme as well.
You probably got there by now but: 1. Get lucky. AU Gun and The Sling are boss slayers, you want them or anything else that can put a dent in the bosses, and then something for crowd control and you're set. Some Passive Items are amazing like Magic Sweet, Clown Mask and Orange Guon Stone (especially if you can get one with Synergy.) Active Items can be whatever you're comfortable with, personally I go with anything that buffs. 2. Git gud (no, seriously). You can power through this game with even starter weapons and do well, just memorize the enemy patterns and have a LOT of patience. 3. Master the bosses. You get an extra Heart for every Boss you clear without taking damage and those hearts go a long way. Just remember getting hit with Armor on means you WON'T get the Heart, unless you have Full Metal Jacket's Blank effect.
@@hail2jigglypuff168 Thanks for the advice! Maybe once I'm done hyperfixating on Deltarune, I'll get back into Enter the Gungeon. Also, I have a nasty habit of not using Active Items…
@@zierin705 You're welcome. To be honest I'm barely past my first 20 hours and I'm having a blast! Some of those pointers were how I cleared my first character. One last thing, always use your Blanks. They replenish to two when you go to the next level so don't be like me and hoard them. They're great for when you're feeling overwhelmed or right before you kill a boss.
Does anyone have a link or name to the track of the "calm version" of The Hollow? The one that plays when you teleport to another room and just wander around rooms you've already cleared.
