C.C !!! Thank you for this valuable lesson on the rise from rags to riches of " The Greatest Hip Hop Group of All Time ".... I grew up on " The Wu Tang Clan ".. I was 13 years old and going to Junior High School in New York City , so when their monumental album debut , I actually was there and the experience was phenomenal !!! You would have to understand that New York City was a whole different city back in those days !!! That album is a classic and captures the gritty essence of New York City back in those days !!! It was a very cold winter that year !!! When they had dropped the song " Cream " it was officially on !!! Peace !!!

I was 14 year old white boy from Jersey lol, it was a change in hip-hop all together. Grimy.. NYC hip-hop from 92-98 was 'Our Punk' movement our counter culture. Wu was a soundtrack to my highschool years, from the Purple Tape to Forever. I met ODB at Pennsauken Flea Market after Forever dropped, gave me a hug and told me he loved all his white boys lol Rae bought his mom and little brother a big house a town over from us.
