Yeah the Narada looks very strange as doesn't look like it is of romulan origin but neither was the Scimitar, the Scimitar looked like a Jem'Hadar assault crusier. The Scimitar was probably a one of a kind Romulan ship designed to use the red matter weapon, hence why it was so heavily armed and has drilling platforms.
Great job! I was hoping someone would upload something like this. The original series' Constitution class and Next Generation's Galaxy class rule in my opinion. Also, you showed that when you are facing a powerful opponent, you want the right man sitting in the captain's chair, namely, William Shatner's Kirk.
...that is an excellent point not even any polarized hull plating...though thats the whole world...and apparently the Narada took down both a 25th primeverse century federation and klingon fleet before going to the past so I wonder why the Enterprise won...
yes but apparent its a mining ship redesign with borg and Romulan technology and it somewhat looks like how the Scimitar was looking when Shinzon was getting ready to destroy picard once and for all...you know right before data made the ultimate sacrifice to destroy the ship
Yeah. It kinda reminds me of the Lakota, normally Excelsior class ships are pretty average warships, barely rivalling Cardassian ships. But if the Federation really wanted to they can make them as powerful as a Defiant class ships, and that just via upgrades.
well actually the only real problem with the Vengeance is that gaping "shot me here" hole beneath the bridge and those ROTATING TORPEDO LAUNCHERS...but besides that its an armored federation starship built by Section 31 which isnt impossible...and it looks like (minus the problems I mentioned) how a Terran Empire ship would probably actually look
yeah I agree...though what do you think the team design that ship was thinking allowing that hole around the bridge large enough for a delta flyer or maybe even the defiant to torpedo the bridge starwars style with a star trek twist
Although I like the Vengeance personally, I do have a bit of a peeve with the scripting of these new movies. They say shields up but nothing happens. What is this Star Wars?
***** Still when I compare the gash the "homing phasers" did to the Enterprise compared to the Turbolaser shot going straight through the window. It still comes out as much more devastating. I also think the "homing phasers" aren't homing, just elongated sine waves that give the appearance of homing. Like the wave beam from Metroid. static2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20080926121246/metroid/images/2/2e/Wavebeam-m0.gif
...yep all ships requires a bridge to function and that bridge would be hit so quickly that they'll let it float into a star to burn...so who do you think would get the honor to destroy that bridge...scotty...picard...sisquo...if possible kirk and spock prime
...*rolls eyes*...another thing JJ got wrong...lol though to you what cruiser class does the Vengeance look like to you an altered exclesior or a tiny soverign with a galaxy saucer with a decks missing under the bridge
lol I know that but what would someone be smoking to even allow that thing to be commissioned into the federation...cause sector 31 isnt even that dumb...i hope
...though thinking about its looks like something someone from current goverment would commission... the ship is laughly poorly designed...the prime verse would laugh that thing to the scrapheap...sure the 23th century federation would have a few problems... every ship could defeat that thing in some form or fashion
