My dog has arthritis as well she’s 12 and she was limping all the time we tried so many different treatments and finally found the one!!! we started her on CBD oil they make a really good brand it’s by Austin and Kat it’s for dogs and cats they come in different milligrams honestly my girl is like a puppy again it’s amazing she has had no limp you just have to find the right amount that works for your baby if you try it don’t give up!

Order your dog some Kratom. I have 2 senior dogs that both have arthritis. I take Kratom for pain management and it works so well I called my vet and he said absolutely give it to the dogs. You’ll see a difference in an hour. Turmeric also helps inflammation.

Hi! Have you tried any kind of CBD supplements for Pap? I’m sure it will bring some relief!!!

I'd find a naturopathic vet and/or research deficiencies that might cause the joint issues. Does Pappy get enough exercise? Water? How's is digestion (very important for getting his nutrients from food)... Probiotics, prebiotics...can dogs eat fermented foods? Ya' might start with hiring an animal communicator to see what she might pickup on it, and fun to just ask Pappy questions :-) and to learn more about him. It's legit, people can really do this, and if you find a good one, it'll be very entertaining for your audience.

My 15 year old dog had arthritis in his back hips so bad that he would cry in pain when he'd try to walk. He would even crawl just to go outside to pee. We couldn't even pick him up to help him to go out because he'd scream in pain. It was heart breaking. The Vet prescribed him Rovera which is an anti-inflammatory, and besides giving him that daily I gave him Easy Boy Calming Chews with Hemp daily (found on Amazon). Between both of those it was like a miracle! Within a month he was running around like a puppy again. I'm not even exaggerating! I weaned him off of the Rovera first then the Calming Chews and he is doing completely fine without any meds and still runs up and down our stairs with no problem. I hope this helps your sweet fur baby!

For Pappy I highly recommend Adequan. You will need a prescription from your vet. It is an IM injection. The dog will get a loading dose of 8 injections 1 every 4 days then it is just once a month after that. I thought I was going to have to put my dog down and we started him on these injections and he acts like a puppy now.

Really cool to see you eating mostly vegan food :) (idk your whole diet obviously) but it really adds on to your sweetness that you purchase cruelty free products :)

What kind of food do you feed Pappy? His dry food should be a good quality, organic, no grain food. High protein. I have arthritis and react badly to white flour and sugar. Not saying he eats those. No people food for little Pappy! I love that you and Dean are so compatible and seem very happy together. Wishing you the best!

Might not be able to take pappy on anymore hikes. His puppy instincts will keep him physically moving but it could be very painful for him afterwards

We give my old dog with arthritis CBD oil, and it does help in addition to his other medicines! I would check it out. We see a major difference if we forget to give it to him!

Cbd oil or treats can help older dogs in many ways. A lot of vets can't reccomend it quite yet cause theres not a whole lot of official FDA testing on it. And fish oil/omega 3s are great. They're most likely already in the joint supplement depending what brand it is but also great for dogs for a variety of reasons :)

My dog doesn’t have arthritus thankfully but he has had many other health issues, CBD oil has been a miracle worker. I use kingkanine, it’s really affordable and specifically for dogs.

Same thing happened with my dog. Along with joint supplements my vet recommended 1000mg of Fish Oil(however she is 50lbs so I would recommend asking your vet how many mg). Hope that info helps.

Our dog had bad arthritis too and I talked my boyfriend at the time (now husband) into taking him to the vet chiropractor because the regular vets solutions just masked the problem with pain killers and there was nothing to lose. He was very hesitant but they started doing adjustments, cold laser therapy and herbal supplements for his joints and it completely changed everything. We are both convinced it added at least another year of good quality life for him. He went from whimpering in the middle of the night from a stiff neck to it never happened again and he become more youthful. Worth a shot! Make sure to ask about the cold laser therapy too

Hydrogen perioxide the food grade kind not the one at store . U can add like three drops small in his water and will help his authritus pain. It’s for humans too. Check out one min cures with hydrogen peroxide food grade. Just do not mis with un natural things. Such as chemicals pharmacy drugs. We give drops to our dog he seems to walk better when I do. He’s older like 12.

I make sure my dog has a way to get up and down from my bed with a little trunk with cushions on it next to my bed and another smaller leather stepstool so she can get up and down without hurting herself...a stairstep effect. Wishing comfort and healing for your dear doggy.
