I have a tip for you, lol Next time your clean the tops of your cabinets, when your done, put down wax paper on the tops, and next time, all you have to do is change the paper!

You have the right attitude about housecleaning. I am an empty nester, my house is always clean. When my kids were growing, it was not. If you ask my adult children what they remember of their childhood it’s not we had a messy house it will be what we did together. You’re doing a great job!

Everything about this made me smile! 1st. I love your house! It gave me so much inspiration for our home! We moved in almost a year ago and still have barely decorated. 2nd. It felt so good when you said that all us mamas and wives are doing a great job. I have been in such a slump lately. I have a newly one year old and I am 13 weeks pregnant. The whole first trimester + Covid situation had me and our home a MESS. I felt like I was lacking in every area of life. I am finally moving into my second trimester and feel like I'm starting to get ahold of my home again as well as just learning to be a mom of a toddler and getting back into the groove with my husband because our relationship has definitely been lacking as well - which I think mostly had to do with just how I was feeling down on myself all the time. 3rd. When you said us homemakers always feel like we are lacking in some area - I really felt that and it meant so much to hear because I truly didn't realize it wasnt just me! Hearing that I'm not alone and we all feel that way helped me SO much. Ugh, I could truly cry and how much all of this meant. I blame the pregnancy hormones 🙄😉 just, thank you.

My dog passed away last week, and it has been super hard. My husband and I got her when we were in college so she’s been with us for 12 out of our 15 years together. Thank you for being so positive and taking my mind off things for a while. ❤️

Currently my priority has been my boys (ages 11, 13 and 15) to ensure their schooling and well-being are in check and that my husband and I are connecting as much as possible. I totally need it today...it’s a rainy gloomy day here in the mountains of Western North Carolina 🌧 we have been taking this stay at home time to do some room refreshing...master bedroom is on today’s schedule...so excited!! To answer your questions: I think we might be soul sisters🤣 dishes are by far my least favorite chore and I love love love cleaning my counters. I understand what you mean about feeling accomplished in one area and lacking in another. My children are teenagers so we have been teaching them how to paint (life skill) which is also spending time with them...it is a rare occasion that getting things done while we are spending time together as a family ever happens! Sorry my comment is so long today. I know you are busy. On a final note I have to say a huge THANK YOU to you for keeping it real (as you always do) you look beautiful and put together yet appropriate and comfortable while cleaning...a rarity on RU-vid these days. OMG! Leaving the kitchen to last is genius! I clean all the rooms, and used to start with my kitchen only to come downstairs and find it in a mess again and I also bring all the junk from upstairs down to the kitchen island to sort and clean up! I’ve liked the fly lady system of doing 15 mins of Zone cleaning 4 days in my week. One hour of home blessing once a week, I.e., quick cleaning. Love your defuser!

I have a daily routine that helps me a lot now there are days that goes out the window i also do a lot of crafting which also helps me....you have definitely motivated me this morning...thank you.
