I just read an article where Phil Spencer said that there could be a possibility. Xbox will allow third party storefronts like the steam store. Honestly, that's a game changer. In my opinion, if they do, this, xbox has won
Horizon is not coming in 2024. They no longer release the games every 2 years. And FH5 released in November of 2021. Which accounts to about 2 years, and as of writing this comment is actually much less than that. Late 2025 at the earliest , midway through 2026 at the latest is probably a more faire guess
@@heybos4640 Fall 2021- Fall 2024 is three years. FH4-FH5 was also three years. They are in a very good rhythm, and I see no reason why that would stop.
Not just "the fall of 2021" but November 9th to be specific. Pretty much the end of 2021. So: Counting from November 9th - Currently writing this on the 8th of March, its been 850 days which is = 2 Years, 3 Months and 28 days exactly (did the math with a little help from google) Even by your logic, no way the game comes out this year. So.. okay i can back off a little from my initial comment and say maybe the fall of 2025. And that's assuming the game doesn't get delayed internally.
This is a turn around I wasn’t expecting, and I’m glad I managed to pick a Series X up for £300 whilst they’re going for dirt cheap! PS5 + Series X + Switch is the best combo
*For ME, 2024 is going to be the biggest year in gaming.* I'm looking forward to... *On Xbox:* • Assassin's Creed Red *• Hellblade 2: Senua's Saga* • Black Myth Wukong • South of Midnight • Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League • 33 Immortals • Banishers: Ghost of New Eden • Towerborne • Dragon's Dogma 2 • Tales of Kenzera • Star Wars: Outlaws • The First Descendant • Flintlock: The Seige of Dawn *On PS5:* • Spider-Man 2: Multiplayer *On PC:* • Final Fantasy 16 • Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth • Rise of the Ronin • Stellar Blade *Note:* I know that most of the PC games I listed have not yet been announced for PC, but I fully expect them to release on PC at some point. Be it in 2024 or 2025. Either way, I am waiting for those games to drop on PC. 2023 was great for those who play first-person games and turn-based games, but I don't play those, so it was just okay to me. But *2024, though?!?!* That's going to be *MY YEAR, BABY!!!*
@@Joshda039 For a few reasons, actually. 1) The biggest reason? I'm just not a "PC guy" like that. I'm not a real "PC Gamer." All of the things y'all love about PC are things that either annoy me or are just illogical to me. For instance: • Y'all like to spend *hours* of your gaming time playing around with the settings menu. I do not. • Y'all like to tinker around until you get the highest framerate. I do not. (Primarily because I can't tell the difference, to be honest.) • Y'all love and swear by modding. Which, to be fair, is pretty cool on paper. But in reality, modding doesn't benefit me because none of the games I play get molded like that. All of the impressive mods are for games I don't even play or want to play. So the modding community is useless to me. (And what few mods that *DO* get made for the games I play are not impressive to me.) • Y'all love shitting on consoles and console players. I do not. Because a gamer is a gamer to me. I just don't fit in with "PC Gamers" like that. So, for me, the gaming PC is just for games that I can't play on Xbox. (But! If modders ever start doing cool mods for games that I *DO* actually play, it will be for those games as well.) 2) I really do love the Xbox community. For a number of reasons. And the PC platform is only partially integrated into Xbox Live and, therefore, the Xbox community. 3) I have had my gaming PC since August of this year. I did more troubleshooting concerning different hiccups within the first two months of having my gaming PC than I have with the entirety of the Xbox One generation AND the current Xbox Series X|S generation so far. Playing on PC is very inconvenient and inefficient to me. So for those reasons, I won't make the PC my primary gaming platform. But at the same time, my gaming PC is a *beast.* So it *IS* my second-favorite platform to play on. Especially since it is still partially integrated with the Xbox Ecosystem.
I'm cautiously optimistic for Avowed. I thought Outer Worlds started off well, but after the first planet and first couple companion quests you could tell they were running out of money and things felt very under-developed after those. With Avowed I'm hoping Obsidian has the full budget they need to create the game they want to.
Hi Colt, I am uncertain about all these games coming in 2024 but from what I know my picks are Avowed, Hellblade II, Stalker 2, Starfield Expansion, Towerbourne and COD. My dream is to see Gears in some way this year and I look forward to finding out more about the others as they get closer to release.
@@KizzMyAbs well it's not like my family goes buying stuff that I need. I never needed an Xbox series x, but I accepted it bc it's the nice thing to do... What's more spoiled is when your parents buy you your first car or something you actually need in life, that's where you need to buy it yourself...
I'm most excited about Avowed, Stalker 2, Clockwork Revolution and Silksong ( if that really drops this coming year ) I have PC gamepass ultimate, there's so much to look forward to in 2024 and beyond it blows the mind 😊😊😊 Thanks Colt
@@ColbyCuckboy all 4 games named have every reason to be bangers. Avowed made by Fallout New Vegas team. Stalker 2- just see how popular the first Stalkers are to this day. This'll blow up on PC. Silksong is a follow-up to Hollow Knight, one of the most praised Metroidvanias of all time. That leaves Clockwork Revolution, we'll see how that pans out.
I remember the event in 2020, I really felt like the future of Xbox was bright and since then we've kept on waiting for it. There have been a few good games here and there but now we really need to see it. I want to feel excited again. The games that I'm looking forward the most are Avowed and Project Midnight. I love the pillars universe so I hope Avowed will deliver. I also feel like 2024 would be a good year to give us some information on Everwild. Nice Zelda t-shirt by the way.
Agreed, we have to take into account that games used to take 3 to 4 years and now it is taking 6 to 7 years or it will be released unfinished. This explains Xbox’s barren 2022 and PlayStations 2023. … and the trend of releasing unfinished games.
@ShadowDemonSB Yes, that's right. That's why I believe it's better to own several consoles. I'm primarily a Nintendo fan, but I saw a lot of potential in what Xbox wanted to do, now I'm waiting for the games to release, in the mean time I still have plenty of games to play.
@rafaelrobles5494 Yes, that dounds accurate. I didn't own an Xbox One. Before the Series S, the only Xbox consoles I owned was a 360 and it was great, so I didn't feel the lack of Xbox games the same way other people did.
ThanX for the making this video Colt, 2024 wil be a strong year for XBOX. I hope to buy a Series X console soon so I can enjoy not only Halo, but also Stalker 2, Hellblade 2, & Cyberpunk 2077 ( physical edition). I'm not a fanboy, as I'm enjoying my PS5, but glad to see Team Green bringing it. When there's competition we gamers win.
I have no inside knowledge, but I think Hellblade II and Avowed are the likely candidates for 2024. Starfield Shattered Space, Stalker 2, Towerborne, and Ark II will round out 2024. And don't forget that the ABK back catalog will probably trickle out in 2024. Project Odyssey is a wild card, so maybe 2024 or 2025 and likely multi-plat. I believe that South of Midnight, Clockwork Odyssey, and Forza Horizon 6 are likely 2025. Other known games, like Fable, Indiana Jones, Perfect Dark and Contraband could also be 2025 or maybe 2026. These are just my gut talking here.
clockwork revolution has been rated by the esrb which means it is playable start to finish. on the trailer it said the release date was a mystery, so I think there is potential it could be shadow dropped
Final Fantasy 14 & Blue Protocol make 2024 for me. Project Odyssey could be my suprise of the year being a blizzard fan. Hellbade 2, Avowed, Towerborne & STALKER 2 to name a few will also make 2024 a good year.
Great video, I am looking forward to 24. I don't believe we getting a new console in 25/26. But I do think upgrade serverblads is a no brainer. And lets net forget AI. I am looking forward to see in 24 is a better Starfield with more explorering content. Have a great Holiday still @Colteastwood 😊
If you ask me xbox has been the best console and best console with Customer support! The games have been hands down awesome! I'm very excited for xbox's road map for 2024!
Colts back baby! Merry Christmas and hope you have a good New Year. Thanks for all the content and hilarious XNCs. It looks like we’re going to eat well on Xbox, really excited for all these games on the great value service of game pass 😎
How are none of these launch channels not talking about The First Descendant? Its on track to be one of the best looter shooters to come out since Destiny. The alphas and betas were amazing. And theyve been fixing everything they got feedback on.
@Colt and Family.....Hope you're ALL having a Great Xmas !?!? Cheers for another Great Video, the main game I'm looking forward to playing in 2024 is Hellblade 2 as I've been following the development of that game from the very beginning and it's going to blow peoples minds and show people just what the Series X is capable of !! I've been saying it since before the release of the Series X, that we will have to wait a few years before we get to play PROPER Next Gen Games, because Phil Spencer has been busy laying deep foundations for a very dominant generation and beyond.....So it's nice to finally be at that point where the final products are coming out and will show what we've been waiting for.....and it's been well worth the wait !! May people have been comparing and judging the Series X hardware and it games and they've clearly not known that what they've been judging is NOT the Next Gen Content.....Now they're not going to be happy as they're ALL going to be eating a lot of Crow once they see the REAL Next Gen Games that have been specifically built on and for the Series X, games that will be leveraging the Velocity Architecture and the features of RDNA2 along with ALL the other Bells and Whistles that Microsoft have crammed inside the Xbox Series X.....All of which, so-far, have not been used this generation since developers have been releasing Cross-Generation Games while working on their Proper Next Gen Titles which are all due for release from 2024 onwards !! Soo, as I've been saying and been ridiculed for but I've never let it bother me because I was lucky to have seen some of the True Next gen content really early, so I've always known that I'll be the one laughing last as I knew what I was saying was going to become Fact..... The Future is Bright, Bright Green - The Future Is XBOX !!! Thanks Again for ALL the info and content you've given us throughout the year.....Wishing you and the Family All the Best for the New Year and continue Enjoying the Holidays.....The same goes to ALL my fellow Xbox Fans out there as well.....Happy New Year People, Enjoy !!!
Hey, when is Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess coming to game pass? I want to play that. And Still Wakes The Deep is another one coming in 2024 that I look forward to play 😀
And then there are the ponys, saying that Playstation still has the better exclusives while crying really hard.😂 Insane how quickly Xbox is taking he crown.
I mean as an Xbox fan I’ve been watching these kinds of videos for maybe 7 or 8 years and each year Xbox kinda fails to live up to expectations. Xbox’s year is always “next year”.
@Daniele-PierreDuLac I don't believe that cause I've been following for as long as you say, and it was never the case. Xbox literally owns Activision and Bethesda. It's impossible to fail, basically. Xbox is too strong at this point.💪
@@Daniele-PierreDuLacyou are not an Xbox fan you liar. Every comment on your channel is a sneaky backhanded comment about Xbox having no games. What you are is a pony who doesn't have the balls to admit he is one. You disgusting sad little pony rat boy
I disagree Phil already stated 3 to 4 first party AAA games is the goal, so everything depends on the ABK games and if Square Enix wakes up and fully supports Xbox.
Hope Avowed is good. Not pre-ordering though.. will wait till the player bases gives their reviews (not the paid youtubers who said “Starfield is bugfree!!” Outer Worlds had two BIG problems… the game FELT like it was open world but was actually on rails and pushes you in a direction. Secondly… choices basically didn’t matter. The RPG dialogue gave the ILLUSION of choice, but the outcomes are basically the same. Avowed has to do better
Nah they need to stay away from thst shit n come ul with there own stuff now u guys git the money n studios leave that to the best Sony PlayStation can't waut to see Sonys road map n acrasitions comming. up PlayStation still n will be king n no 1
I think a lot of people tend to forget that Obsidion has put out some great rpg's way before, Avowed. Fallout:New Vegas, Neverwinter Nights 2, and KOTAR 2, just to name a few. This game looks to be more like New Vegas and NWN 2 more than Outer Worlds.
not gonna lie, south of midnight hiring sweet baby to up its esg diversity score has totally taken away my enthusiasm for it (do yourself a favor n look up sweet baby inc.)
I have a series x and am thrilled with it but feel I’m missing out on graphics with a crappy tv. Can anyone recommend a tv or monitor I should look into?
The reason I went with Xbox is Game Pass. With the PC Game Pass Ultimate I dont even have to buy games any more. Sure not all is released on that service, but more than enough for me. So many good games coming next year.
I'm honestly excited for everything. But I hope Xbox gets a next gen system in 2026 or early 2027 and I hope they just make the most powerful console without worrying about price. Sell the series x for 299. When the ps6 comes out, depending on how powerful it is Xbox will either need to drop a slim or elite console months after. And that way people have a choice. Finally. They need to consider Rebooting all their games. I'm talking about gears , halo again, fallout, COD black ops, they did it with fable , doom again. Everything they own needs a reboot. Spyro , and crash . Since it's with the new Xbox they can actually lead the games into a new generation restart the story from the beginning, or continue the story from the original and just add upon It . Imagine crash/ Spyro . With the new technology and even voice actors they would be able to find. The new ways we can play , maybe even multiplayer if done properly.
Call of duty Black ops Gulf war will probably outsell everything combined. 😂🤣 Okay maybe it's not that big but it's definitely going to be one of the biggest call of duty games ever.
A later comer here! Been waiting for two months of discounted XBox series X but after patiently searching for it from so many sites, no luck! 😮 ended up getting it for $419.00 - yikes! Oh Well, I just couldn’t wait for it on sale until Black Fridays! 😁
