Hubert, Rene and me managed to get extend the summer just a bit, and got away to the Lac du Der in France. A small boat meeting was organised by Asseil (www.asseil.fr/) and promoted by Voile Aviron (voileaviron.org/), an organisation to promote sailing with human propulsion (no engines).
We got good company, fantastic cheeses, music, sunshine, and felt like we had been away for a week. Hope to do this again.
