You can increase at the start of the row, if you check out the past at 10.03 where you add a new square, this is an increase. If you did this every row, rather than alternate rows as I have done in the video, it will increase.
Love your tutorial! The only problem I'm having is figuring out size. My swatch is giving me 2" blocks. If I wanted a width of 42" do I divide 42 by 2 =21. Then multiply 21 x 9 = 189? Then I would chain 189? Please, please advise!
