@Mickenos thaiways and byways. He's an engineer and not a bullshitter like some of the people that come on here, I think that is why the dragons had more respect because he wasn't trying to lie to them just explain what the product is without making it sound better than it is.

@@sadikmeah4057 In English it's common to use the past tense about an impression of someone who is still alive but no longer with you in person. "They were nice."; "That band were really great" etc.

In criminal psychology people who have used past tense to describe someone missing are deemed to be suspicious in that they are eluding to the idea that the person is dead. In this case the entrepreneur is alive and well. We are watching him on RU-vid. Therefore the correct statement is, he is a nice chap. To say he 'was' implies he is no longer nice, through conduct or death

These would've been great 10 years ago when this was pitched for festivals of all sorts of sizes from local councils to big music events and parties. Now we have drone light displays which are quite spectacular.

Think they dismissed him too readily, it's almost like they can't envision film, music and event industries buying into this. Be intresting to hear a follow up on what he's doing now with it, because I don't believe that there was absolutely no market for this, especially the wearable kit.
