Thanks, and I agree it's way too short. I hoped for a longer one, but we were running out of time. We were just lucky to even get Petrov to answer our questions briefly + there were technical problems. So had to make it short. And no, I wasn't nervous, just tired and hot from all the lights etc. I, too, like Firespawn over Entombed! Btw. the only time I got nervous interviewing somebody was doing interview with Mike Muir of Suicidal Tendencies at Tuska, because he's one of my idols!

All the guys in Entombed A.D. were in Entombed. Victor was in Entombed for 4 years. Olle was in Entombed for 8 years. Nico was in Entombed for 10 years. So it is pretty much the same band except it's just not the early Entombed line up. The only reason they changed their name was because Alex wasn't into doing it that much anymore and he wouldn't give them the rights to the bands name because a court ruled that it belonged to several members.

Yeah....it was "Entombed" in name only for quite a while, even before the name change.

Just out of curiosity, where do you draw the line between these two?

Well Nicke who wrote pretty much the first four albums just lost interest in Death Metal, and of course he ended up doing The Helicopters thing, which I don't really like. Then he came back and started a new death metal band called Death Breath, which is very Entombed-esque. Right now I think he's possibly still doing the Entombed tour with Alex and Uffe. Nicke has also taken Gaz Jennings spot in Lucifer which I'm skeptical about. Both are amazing riff writers, but I loved the first Lucifer album and a lot of that was due to Gaz's riffs. Nicke has no prior experience with a doom band that I'm aware of. I actually enjoyed every Entombed album to varying degrees. And I don't mind band member changes as long as I still enjoy the music. The reality is most bands change members over the course of their careers. It's rare when a band doesn't. So you'd have to say the same thing about almost every band in existence.
