How do the developers/game creators make money? How is it profitable for them if players just play the game to earn PED which they exchange for RL money? What's the rub?
Most players lose money from in game activities. For example, it may cost you 1 PED to kill a creature but it will only give you back 0.97 PED of loot value on average.
Mind Ark is very transparent about how they make money. They make money off of decay of items in the game. Every time you post on auction there is a small fee, every time you repair your gear that's money to Mind Ark. Multiply this by the number of players doing these activities and you have yourself a profitable business model.
@@SuxTTV at the same time, real money is what makes the money estupidly limited and hard to do anything... I suppose this certainly a game from another era....
