I like listening to this Cordillera singing group whether religious or cultural music. Talented and world class. Thank you for your local/regional music, costumes and beautiful countryside too. Fantastic. I shared them to my friends many times as this is one way for us to learn our Filipino culture.
I see 2 words from Igorot Tribe : Ama (Father) and Ina (Mother). I also found this words as same meaning as well for Nias tribe. Greeting from Western Australia, God Bless.
Hi George! The Naga tribe of India indeed shares common cultural practices and features with the different Cordilleran tribes here in the Philippines and the indigenous tribes of Taiwan. I think we all are of Austronesian origin thus we have such similarities.
@@debmhe4682 that's true. I stayed in the Southwest China particularly in Sichuan before and I noted some similarities. However, for us Cordillerans, the closest as regards traditions and notably the tribal attires are with the natives of Taiwan and Nagaland.
