To be truthful and candid, Abakaliki is the best environment for business, tourism, with cheap food, house rent, better education, hygienic and safety environment, and all it takes for survival among all Nigerian States
For cost of living and security I would pick Abakaliki Ebonyi, Ebonyi economy and commerce should also get a massive boost once the huge International Airport becomes operational in some months time.

Well done your comparison is quiet okay, for me am from ebonyi state but based in Lagos,I didn't spend much of my years in those two state in fact I lived in anambra more,yes enugu have been far developed than ebonyi but with what is happening in ebonyi today in the next fifteen years I don't know if they will be comparable in my opinion though.

Moreover, l think the driving distance between both cities is less than 70 kilometers, about a hour,if l'm not wrong, which is not far at all.Welldone! Cheers!

Abakaliki and Enugu should not be compared, they both ain't doing the same thing. Enugu is never in competition with any state, Enugu don't copy from others, they do their things in their own way, you either live or you leave.. Both city have different development plans.
When ut comes to investing opportunity i think abakiliki is the best right now because they're upcoming infrastructure that will indeed both the revenue and economic of this state while for living i will give it to enugu state.
