I brought Marko, my foster beagle from Envigo home today. He didn't want to come out of his cage for the first 15 minutes until we offered him chicken. Subscribe for more videos!
Sad 😞 he won’t leave the crate !!! How humans can do this to defenseless Dogs ? Very touching ! I’m very happy they have a chance at life !!! God bless y’all that rescued these beautiful souls !!! 💋❤️🙏🇺🇸
The very small tail wags make me want to cry. He is so far from a Beagle puppy, those happy floppy, bouncy sweet pups! Thank you for your extreme patience and understanding.
I have always had beagles. I have two now, brother and sister, from over-populated farm with uncontrolled breeding. My beagles are so smart and so loyal…best breed ever in my opinion. This one is a real cutie.
💯Excellent, patience, slow as you go! This poor precious puppers knows only a cage, everything else is new and scary! Bless all 3 of you! 🙏 I subscribed to follow Marko and the progress to a forever home, (or foster fail)!☯☮♥
Ours took ages to leave his crate and has never wanted back into it. We ended up adopting him. He's changed quite a lot in the month since he came to stay with us and is now such a happy boy. He absolutely adores his new doggy siblings.
I have adopted a 3 leg little Beagle that came up to Ontario by truck from Kentucky..4 years ago now..and she has turned into the most loving little girl..her abuse left scars, she still gets scared with fast movements and strange people..but don't be afraid to take on a rescue, they will forever be yours.
Oh God! I think the sensory stimulation of the crickets and air is new to your pup. Thanks for the bravery...the fostering is a heroic job with the state of the world's misuse and exploitation of beagles and all, Wishing her luck and you she will pop back I am also following a puppy who is now swimming and paddle boarding. 💋😇😇😀😀
How sad to know that beautiful little guy has never walked on grass. Just subscribed and can't wait to see how he progresses. Thank you for giving him a chance for a normal and happy life
Awww, this is so sweet!! You both are so patient and loving and calm! I love the way your husband/boyfriend is so gentle with him...😭😊❤❤❤ Marko is a lucky boy to have you both as his forever family!!
Marco needs a blanket and a soft bed 💛🐶 He’s so adorable! I rescued a female named Grace, I have some videos of her on my channel. Thank you for rescuing him. ☺️🙌🙏😊
hes a good boy, i can see it from here. so sad what they do these little guys and gals and how they take advantage of the pups good natured and trusting ways. i mean, i know beagles, theres one on my feet while typing this, and for one to want to stay in a cage when outdoors like that really tells us how bad it was when that cage door opened. sad. you guys are doing something great fostering this little dude
The dog is so stressed. All of the body language is indicative of a threat. So sad. Also, the water in his crate is stressing him even more because his safe space is now flooded.
The dogs at Envigo regularly have their cages sprayed with a hose so I'm not sure the water here bothered him too much. He is over stimulated in general. But the good news is that this was a good while ago and he has completely integrated into the home and is a happy, normal beagle.
I think that person will always be putting the dog' Inside cages or boxes outside his House for it to disappear very fast. Bad times for the sweet dog 😮😢
This video is the first time this dog has seen the outside world because it grew up in the Envigo breeding facility. He is now saved from that life and lives a very happy life with a family and two other dogs.
These dogs need touch and gentle talk. Marco has been through a lot. He needs a good coaching such a gentle talk to tell him and comfort him it's okay it's okay. Also you need to introduce him to doggie toys and if you want him around other dogs it's best to do that gradually and slowly and cautiously. Because he has never knew what a doggie toy was, and he's been around dogs that are like him but that's only in the lab but they never ever interacted with each other. And wait a while if you give him a bath in the future because there's something about a towel that will scare him to death because when he was in the lab the technicians used towels on them after experimenting on them. Just letting you know. This is his very first time stepping on to grass, and being outside. Y'all are his first loving touch. The only touch he ever known was in the lab and that was from the technicians wearing blue gloves to get ready to take him out of his cage to experiment on. But right now while he's in your care, he needs lots of love and lots of attention and understanding because most of those dogs or all of them developed PTSD. And you must, I repeat, you must have a lot of patience with him just in case. And be cautious of sounds that come out of nowhere that's all of a sudden because it's possible those will scare him too. ☹️❤️❤️🐾🐾 Just to make sure you give him lots of love and lots of attention, and watch where he goes because he will explore. But most of all he needs to run you need to allow him to run around in your yard. Once he gets used to everything and gets used to y'all he just might have the zoomies which is good and let him have those zoomies because he needs to get it out of his system. 😊❤️❤️ Be patient with him because of where he came from. He came from Virginia the Cumberland county facility a few miles from where I live. He just happens to be one of the 4000 beagles that were rescued from that hellish place. God bless y'all. ❤️🐾🐾
It’s great that you’re fostering one of these poor souls but your lack of encouragement and enthusiasm is disturbing. What that guy needs is a jolt of happiness on your part to let him know that the bad times are over. You seem more interested in making your video that actually helping Marco acclimate to his new surroundings. Couldn’t bear to watch beyond the first 5 minutes. 😞
Don’t fault them. They are being gentle and offering Marco the CHOICE of walking out of the safety of his crate. A choice he has never had before. I subscribed because I hope to see his progress that he is making with gentleness and love and lots of chicken! 😘
They are being patient with the dog and letting him decide to come out on his own when he feels safe. Talking too much could be frightening, we don't know how this dog is feeling.
