I discovered this song today. It's really hitting me hard emotionally, I'm listening to it over and over again. Hands down, this is one of the most underrated bands ever.
I first heard Envy when I was 16 years old. Now, at 33 years old, I am a Ukrainian soldier. This song brings back vivid memories of an emotional connection that goes beyond just music. Being away from my family and friends, this song reminds me of my inner strength.
I dont understand a single word, but what you create with your music and the emotion in his voice is touching me every single time. For me the best single release this year and its not even close! So excited for the show in Berlin.
This is why I loved Envy from the first time I heard them. The fact that we don't know what he's saying (if we don't battle to find lyrics on the internet lol) allows us to put what we feel into the screamings and spoken words.
