I know some of these kids copying youtube and Chicago drill rap, but GD has been around, at least in the midwest and south. I'm in my 30s and from a small city (Macon, GA). My side of town, the Eastside, had GD 'hoods when I was in middle school and that was 1996-1997. There was no social media, no youtube, and alotta people didnt even have internet access.
