question for you .I have been reading up on these golf carts .envy states the motor is 29HP but only goes 20 mph and only goes 20 miles on a charge. I read that some other golf carts have 17 hp motor and has about 40 miles on a charge . I do understand its the batteries that give you the range but how come the Envy with such a big motor only goes 20 mph. don't get me wrong I like this cart a lot but I need more distance and a minim of 25 mph or better
Ok it’s a nice LSV, but where’s the glass DOT windshield? I have a Tomberlin Cart LSV, that’s also got power steering. Plus runs at least 25 mph, with a high of 26-27. With 8,6 volt deep cycle batteries for distance. Also a 7” touch screen with a backup camera!
@@pmventura41 As much as I like mine, it’s still just made in china, but that’s how they keep the price competitive with so many features and performance. I understand that, but that won’t even stop me from buying another, but Tomberlin must adapt to the newest lithium battery tech before I do that. Or design a nice gas cart with quiet tech like the Yamaha Quiet Tech II, that’s almost as quiet as electric once up to speed. But whatever cart I own must be capable of 25 mph min. All the gas powered carts are limited to 20-22 mph, but can easily have the governor tweaked to raise the speed, the problem with some is the electronic fuel injection systems, that requires a laptop with a program to do so, plus that effects the warranty on the drivetrain. But for now my 48v, with 8, 6v Trojan T105 deep cycle batteries will do.
Kevin, All I know is I want one…I agree with the speed of 25 or more…I am definitely looking. So many cats to choose from but can definitely be narrowed down…
