Enya - If I Could Be Where You Are 

My only son died in a car accident in 2002. I never realized that the heart could hurt so intensely until the moment I heard the news. Twenty years ago on June 9 I did the hardest thing I’ve ever done in life, close his coffin. Music, especially Enya’s music, kept me with a sense of sanity.

I loss my 1st son at 8 months old and my second son passed 25 yrs later.. Peace be with them , Peace be with you all.. time is precious! Love All why You can..

I lost my mom a month ago Oct,2022 of fluid in the lungs and heart failure , i think of her every minute everyday and it feels like a stabbing pain in your heart that never goes away and like the songs says you think to yourself and say how can i bring you back, i would give anything to hold her in my arms and tell her how much i love her and take her to go eat at her favorite reastraunt.

It's been almost 11 years since I lost the most important person in my life. This song resonates with my feelings on every level. After 50 plus years of marriage the pain of separation seems to increase steadily. Those that are in the same situation as me will understand the undercurrent of this song. The title of the song says it all, the lyrics give the painful detail. I guess I'm still looking for that road, even though I know where it is. This song seems to be sung by an angel, sad, melancholy and haunting.

My mother died when she was too young, she always used to tell me how much she loved me and dance with me while holding me on her lap; she always told me I was her full moon in her dark sky. Now, I am at the age my mother died and have kids on my own. whenever I am alone in the room I turn off the lights the lights and listen to this song and remember her as if she were right next to me talking to me. I love you mama, I will never ever forget you and your unconditional love you showed me, I show this to my own kids now.

I have just discovered this song and it sums every thing I feel about my darling Graham, who left me five years ago, on 17 april 2019. I miss you my darling. So very, very much.

I grew up not knowing you mom, i don't even know your face. but hoped and cried u will come to save me as i was been maltreated and made to suffer. At 19years the news of your death came and i had to visit your grave at least to meet you 😢 I won't judge why you dumped a child of 3months anyway Dad died exactly 12months later to cripple my heart completely. In memory of my friend Emmanuel a lad with which i have been loitering and musing in the year 2010 ,i was almost 8years old and that innocent lad was 5 years old...he was a very 😢😢 playful and loving guy,his torments started with some disruptions on his right leg,some portions of it were mysteriously amplifying,his parents had tried several times to understand the problem,he himself didn't know what was happening with his leg,as days were passing his legs were paining him because it was abnormally amplifying more and more,we thought ourselves all types of conjectures like maybe it was a snake bite or hen bite.... infact he himself was making such conjectures because he himself was not aware of what is happening with his leg..the innocent guy had been suffering and suffering 😢😢...One day,i was gaily rushing from school when i met a neighbor who told me "Emmanuel is dead" once I heard that i was so shocked 😢😢😢and i felt so gloomy..may you rest in peace where you are.... today the innocent Emmanuel could have almost 17 years old but unfortunately he had passed away and i still sad once i think about him....On my own side his death is not rational but mystical,i am sure someone practiced witch craft and killed that innocent guy....I am a Cameroonian 🇨🇲 and i live in Yaoundé which is the political capital of Cameroon 🇨🇲.... thanks for having listening to my story..i am speaking with sorrow 😢😢..

12 years ago, I lost my mother to a drug overdose. Since that day, I've fought with everything I have, not to do the same. I have 2 nephews that took their own lives in such sad circumstances. My son died in a tragic situation, no parent should have to bury a child. I miss him so much more.
