So beautiful. I used to listen to her when I was younger, like age 0-11. My parents played her music while I was growing. Now, looking back it brings such good memories

So many people say this. The same thing happened to me, as a child I heard a few Enya songs that my mom would play, Fairytale and Watermark in particular had a profound effect on me, took me to another place as I would lay down to sleep (I always had trouble sleeping), and these songs would take me to another place and deeply sooth me. To this day those songs bring tears to my eyes. Such beauty in her voice and music.
same here,it was in 3rd grade when i first heard it...and i also would come to find that a kindergarden teacher in that same school also used it in her class.... one day,years later when i was in 9th grade i was having a casual talk before first period with my homeroom teacher and the subject of music came up...i had mentioned my gradeschool experiances with this song as well as what others had told me...and my teacher said that shes not suprised...that there are a few albums that are popular among teachers for the kids in thier classrooms,and enya was among the more common.

@@matthewmills6854 Enya is not dead no. The reason for the few of us saying "RIP Reckful" in here is, a well known twitch streamer died by suicide july 2th. When his death was more or less confirmed by his close friends, twitch (online streaming platform) decided to open old VoD's of his previous livestreams. Here they played this song 2 times, which is why some of us went here.
@@twise6134 His VODs were always available. His mods are just replaying them on stream. Every partnered twitch streamer from before 2014 can keep vods forever, unlike new streamers.

I'm 32, I first heard her music when I was 14. I fell in love with it, bought her CD and I still have it to this day. Had a very bad childhood, she got me through it.
I was looking for this song for so much time now. It reminds me when I was still a kid, listening to this all the time. I was living in a bubble, thinking everything would always stay the same: friends, family, school. Back then, life was so simple. I miss this time. And when I listen to this song, I feel like crying. Omygosh!!!!!! My 3rd grade ela teacher used to always play Enya, and I remembered this song the most. Now as an 11 year old soon to be 12, I still listen to Enya, and all the classic 80s and good oldies that people don't really appreciate these days.
