Enzo knives come from Finland I believe, not Italy.

The Birk 75 is made in Taiwan. I read somewhere that some of the fixed blades are from Portugal. It's another Fallkniven type brand. I have Birk 75 - absolutely beautiful. I Never knew when I ordered it, that it wasn't made in Finland (it was to be my first Finnish knive) - but it's not an issue. So much so that I actually tried to buy another in a different steel/grind and scale material, but the two stores I emailed never replied, so I bought something else.

Yup, the folders are made in the same Taiwanese factory Spyderco uses (and are beautiful). It's not quite as extreme as Fallkniven which outsources all of its production, as I believe Brisa/Enzo makes/assembles at least some of its full sized knives in Finland.

ComUnSas - I don't have any Taichung Spydies, and have only heard good things of them. When I got the Birk, I thought "this must be made in the same Spyderco factory" that everyone says great things about.

Nice looking knife, id say the most impressive part is the hafting job Nelson did with those scales! It looked to be very well done at least on video! Nice knife, I gotta try one of these kit type knives sometime I've always wanted to build my own. Awesome video as always, and nice horse!

I have had the same knife for about two years now and have been pretty happy with it. I did some research before buying it and found Enzo knives to have pretty good value for what they offer, compared to many other companies. I had some doubts about getting D2 for a buscraft type knife, but I wanted to try out something different and after seeing Virtuovice batoning with his Camper (it was rough, to say the least) I was convinced that breaking up wasn't going to be an issue. For me the steel has worked well, keeps an edge pretty good and I haven't had issues with chipping even though I have relatively lean (slightly convexed) microbevel on it. I'm mostly cutting wood and other soft materials though. The microbevel from the factory was steep and not very sharp, maybe for safety reasons since it was the kit version. One thing about my knife I don't particularly like is that the grinds are not even. The primary bevel is about 0.7 to 1 mm higher on one side than the other, which causes some steering on materials like cardboard. Not a big deal though, doesn't make much of a difference in use. If I were to make another one, I might pick up the basic kit and a separate sheath, the 3D contoured handle scales that came with my kit are a bit thin for my liking, I would make them slightly thicker. Overall it's a good knife though, it's my main knife when hiking. Too bad you couldn't do an edge retention test, I would have been interested to see how it stacks up against the other D2 samples. I get it though, since it's not your knife. Also yes, the company making (designing) Enzo knives is a Finnish company called Brisa.

I honestly don't know what all the other nonsense was in this video, but 0:49 and 4:44 was pure gold. Every once in a while I think about picking up an Enzo, but I have yet to find a model that really grabs my attention enough to warrant a purchase. Great review, though.

They have several models from neck knife to camper, a fishermans knife, but the most well known is the Trapper model. Visit www.brisa.fi

Hello, very good job. I consult you, how long the sheath measures. Could you measure it as a favor? Thank you very much

Enzo is Finnish, not Italian. You can buy the finished knives, kits (where the handles are already shaped), basic kits (where you have to shape the handle) or blanks and all in different steels (even Elmax), grinds (flat and scandi) and handle materials.They are sold by Brisa (www.brisa.fi) where you can get Enzo knives but also many others and also all the tools, handle materials, rivets, sheath materials, etc you will need to build your own knife. I do TOTALLY agree that it is the best up scaled choice for people loving their Mora knives but want something more durable.

How is the blade steel on enzo vs the F1?
@nicolai8920

Greetings, How would you rate the steel and scandi in comparison to the Fällkniven S1? I would like to try D2 but worried that it will be very chippy with the scandi? The Fällkniven vg10 chips like crazy. I'll buy the Enzo finished. For 2/3 of the S1 vg10. Looking forward to hear from you. Have a great day and thumbs up for Cedric alone.

I love my Camper in D2. Even if prone to light chipping with a scandi grind, thinking about convexing it. Love my other Enzo knives as well, the Trapper (both my Trapper 95 in O-1 and my 115 in Elmax), the Badger (115/D2) and the Necker (70/12C27). Btw The Enzo knives can also be purchased ready made (as I have), not just as kits.

Say Heah Cedric, Too bad you don't review Busse Combat. Infact, I have a nice stable of them. Starting with a 3 1/2" blade, then a 4 1/2" blade, then a 5 1/4" blade, and now a Flak Jack a 6 1/4", then a blade, then 9 1/2", and 11" blase. I also have a knife that was Cerakoted by Busse Combat for the 1st. time my ASH-1 a Green American Flag Cerakote. I also have the Ergo Trio which are coated. My 5 1/4" blades are my INFIMandu which I have two. Boy I would love to see a review on a Busse Combat on your channel, That would be awesome.,,.p
