Leon is one lucky dude ! I'm always amazed at the huge emptyness of the outback, so beautiful, but makes you realize that a reliable vehicle can be a matter of life or death !
It’s so wonderful being out on the countryside and NOT seeing crowds of people. Being alone or with your mate helps you THINK better. We ALL need time alone for constructive thinking. It’s called “Peace Of Mind.”
What? You have never seen Mad Max 2? Some of these small old towns Ive seen on video in Australia remind me of where I live. Mining towns that once were important for local economies. Thriving communities that fizzled out when the minerals ran out. Many people dont understand their history and how important they were.
Wow thank you for sharing us a other amazing video I’m so much in love with your videos that you post up every Sunday. OMG that is going to be one very big drive all the way to Brim but I’m sure it’s going to be a amazing adventure driving all that way there is going to be lots to see and do. Looking forward to seeing you next Sunday for the next episode
Molly, can’t believe you have never seen Mad Max. Another great Aussie movie I saw when I lived in Perth was “Red Dog”. If you get a chance give it a watch. It’s a very heartwarming story that takes place in a mining town in the outback.
Another cool video Molly. Leon looks like such a funny chill dude throwing out the big shakkas behind your back. Keep on trucking and looking forward to the next one.
thks Molly, v nice drone shot of Stephens creek/your campsite. you are so well setup. amazed all looks so green. i was last in Silverton in 2006 on central Australia trip from Sydney (we didn’t go to nearby Stephens creek or even knew it existed, just Silverton hotel, the highlight). there was no greenery al all in sight, absolutely flat barren area. finding a creek when camping, even if flowing intermittently certainly makes a difference!
Hey. Molly, what brand is your check shirt? The teal colour is awesome and suits you. How does the black RAM look so clean in the videos? Your drone work is getting really good. Thanks for bring us along to the corner.❤
check shirt/flanno's are common, can buy thin cheapies or thicker ones for more $s, lumber jacket style, fleece inside, cost most, don't think there is much competition between brands, usually just whoever supplies the cheapest to the store is what you will find, they are usually the thinner ones
The mornings are cold here in Perth at the moment (mid winter) but getting some awesome sunny winter days same as you are getting out there in the middle. The rain has greened everything up and some great drone shots Molly. I lived & worked in Broome for 4yrs (company provided 4bed hse at Cable Beach) and i was in the surf club & miss that lifestyle but love Perth just as much. Heading back up to Broome way for a trip next year to do the top end again. Once you got the 4WD travelling bug in Australia you keep craving for more all the time - haha. How is the RAM to cruise in out of curiosity on the dirt roads?
if you get some 4mil or thicker clear plastic, cover your gear then throw a blue poly tarp over it and tie it all down. stops the dust covering your gear. can also use a bungee cord netting after to stretch over to and that stops any flapping. i used to do that for wet and dust.
What it is to be as free as you possibly can be in this day and age. Live life while you can Molly. Good on you guys. We’re all living our lives through you. Thanks for a bit of joy😅
Good morning Molly from Washington State, USA. As usual you make us all feel like we're hangin with an old friend...how do you do that? Anyway, it's fun to see the stations in the outback and that panorama from the drone at 10:35 and 13:17 on the video is unreal. Also really love the wildlife shots. I think you're smart to have the rooftop tent on your truck. I wouldn't necessarily want to sleep on the ground with the gators, snakes, and spiders. Take care and be safe.
Howdy Molly! Thanks for showing us your beautiful country and I really like the towns…they look like Texas towns and have a lot of character! Now if we can get you to call a truck a truck! 🤠 saddle up !
This is awesome! Totally drawn to this as I absolutely love the California deserts as well as Arizona. They are not nearly as expansive as Australia so I always dream of coming there someday. And don't worry you didn't miss much by not seeing Mad Max! 😂
