Hi! I shared sample messages on episode 2! This time, I didn't ask for any virtual call because of time. I added a connection note asking for a referral.
Great video! Been doing this as well for my job hunting process. Thank you for sharing your resources and insights! One thing to note is that some of these connections will respond quite negatively on how we're going about sending direct referral request. I've had a handful of people on LinkedIn that basically gave me a lecture on why I shouldn't ask for referrals lol. Just a heads up for some of job seekers out there!
this happened to me as well! I explained in ep2 that some people said they only give referrals they worked with before, which is totally understandable. :)
