Tried to jot it down, hope it helps :) To pray Janaza: 1. After the 1st Taqbeer recite Surah Fatiha. 2. After the 2nd Taqbeer send salawat upon Prophet (pbuh): "Allahumma salli 'ala- muhammad wa 'ala aali muhammad..." 3. After the 3rd Taqbeer send prayers upon the deceased: "Allahummaghfir lihayyina wa mayyitina, wa shahidina wa gha’ibina, wa saghirina wa kabirina, wa dhakarina wa unthana. Allahumma man ahyaitahu minna faahyihi ‘alal-Islam, wa man tawaffaytahu minna fa tawaffahu ‘alal- iman." [O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those who are present and those who are absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whomever of us You cause to live, let him live in Islam, and whomever of us You cause to die, let him die in (a state of) faith.] 4. After the 4th Taqbeer you make duaa for yourself, the ummah and the deceased: " Allahumma la tahrimna ajrahu wa la tudillana ba’dah." [O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward, and do not let us go astray after him]." 5. End with tasleem, either one or two (do it like the one leading the Janazah). May Allah reward each and every soul working for Yaqeen, in this world and in Akhirah. Ameen♡

My grandfather recently passed away, it's the first time someone I know passes away. I was with him right after he took his last breath. We somehow did not fall apart. I went and prayed Salah al janazah on him and it was the first time I've done so. Alhamdulillah my grandmother and aunts keep seeing dreams about him, the most beautiful one was when my aunt saw that angels were covering his body with (حنوط من الجنة). JazakiAllahu khairan
My dad passed away last week. Its been one of the hardest week for us. My brother died in 2010 and then my mom in 2012. Its now me and my brother. Oh Allah. Plz pray for us and my family who has already returned to Allah and those who still waiting.
May Allah make it easy for your sister. It is.the hardest thing to bear when losing a lived one. May Allah heal your heart and grant your father the highest jannah. Lost my mum in Dec and 2 months dad passed and dad went also in Feb this year. This is allahs qadar, grief someday it's like a wave hits you hard. Allah make it easy on all of us anf forgive our loved ones and have mercy on them
May Allah shower his mercy upon him, forgive him, make his grave a garden of paradise, save him from punishment of the grave and grant him jannatul firdaus, ameen. Salam, my sister, and I are looking forward to this series. We are trying to heal and draw closer to Allah. Our Mother was murdered in her home this August in KY, the USA on the Islamic new year, in her home and while fasting by a person she opened her home to. She was 56 and we pray that her Soul Rest In Peace and all of the departed souls. We ask you to pray for her and my father and all six siblings. Thank you.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon. I'm so sad to hear of your loss. May Allah swt grant your mum junnah al firdous and your family beautiful sabr and reward. My sister passed away suddenly in Oct 2020, she was only 43 and there is a void and emptiness. I beg Allah swt to take this pain away and grant me sabr. Grief stays for a long time and we will only get comfort and peace from becoming closer to Allah swt. May Allah swt make us obedient and steadfast and allow us to meet our loved ones again in the next life in junnah.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Allah, the Exalted, says: 'I have no reward other than Jannah for a believing slave of Mine who remains patient for My sake when I take away his beloved one from among the inhabitants of the world". • You came in this world with athan and no Salah, when you leave this world you leave with Salah & No Adhan.Your entire life is like a time between the Adhan & Salah. • When you were in the womb of your mother with the same stroke the angel wrote your date of death & your life span so as you were coming in this world you were already out of it. • A reminder to constantly pray before we are prayed upon. • Salat ul Janazah is a right of a Muslim upon the Muslim, a way to bid farewell and remind of ourselves that we are on this exact same journey as the person in front of us is and a time would come when this body would be replaced by our body. Why do we recite what we recite?? • It is basically a salah shortened, starting from fatiha, and ending in salah.(Basically reminding us Salah again!!) • Accepted duwa has praise, and salawat, this Janazah has both of these elements. There is a difference of one tasleem or two tasleem. 1) The rights of the Muslim upon another Muslim are 5. a) To respond to the Salam. b) Visiting the Sick. c) Following the funeral processions d) To accept an invitation. e) To reply to those who sneeze. It is a communal obligation. A woman used to clean the masjid of prophet(pbuh) and once the lady was missing, he notices the woman missing and asked about her, the prophet(pbuh) was told she passed last night, he(pbuh) asked why didn’t u tell me? They said we did not want to bother you. (it was an inconvenient time). He (pbuh) told to take her to the grave and he prays Janazah on her grave again and said “These graves are chambers of darkness and they are lit up by my salah upon them. No one should be treated like they are insignificant for a Janazah. The one who prays Salah of Janazah has the reward of uhd in good deeds and the one who follows the Janazah has the reward of 2 uhd in good deeds. (incentive given) (Hadith) When Ibn abbas son passed away he asked someone to look out who attended the Janazah, he said the prophet(pbuh) said “IF any Muslim dies & forty who associate nothing with Allah pray upon him, Allah will accept them as intercessors for him.”

My father passed away almost a week ago. Please make du'a for him - that Allah SWT forgives him, has mercy on him, protects him from the punishment of the grave, and grants him the highest HIGHEST ranks in Jannah. Ameen.

What is said in the beginning of the video, what is said right before Janazah prayer always gives me chills and I feel pain. It takes me back to praying Janazah for my father 2 weeks ago 😭 I saw him pass away and I can’t take that look he had looking up, away from my mind 💔
