Oh what a beautiful, peaceful garden. The mosaic pieces set off your flowers. The round mosaic piece that is hanging and edged in beads that you stuck in with pins is on what substrate? Styrofoam? Thank you for the tour. ❤
I love it all!! Two questions, what did you glue the glass onto the metal butterfly with? And, when you mosaic with mirror, do you do anything special or use a specific adhesive before you grout it? How do you keep them from getting the moisture between the backing and glass or is it made differently from regular mirror? Thank you, in advance!! 🙂
I used GE II silicone for the butterfly. I make sure to use neutral cure adhesive (like GE II silicone) and have 100% coverage. The silicone is waterproof.
Everything is incredible, thank you so much for sharing. Do you use GE silicone or E6000 to do your stones? And do you use your usual Polyblend grout for them or something different for exterior projects? I’m in PA and always so timid about outdoor projects. Thank you for always being so generous with your knowledge-you’re a peach!
I use GE Silicone for my stepping stones. I used the Polyblend sanded grout. I think Spectralock I is better quality, but not needed if you seal your cement paver with stone sealant first.
