Should NEVER heat up chassis or suspension parts! Now the metal lost its strength.

A much simpler method of removing those bushings is to support the A arm bushing tube from underneath with a 1 1/16” 12 point deep socket. The bushing will pass into the deep socket Using a 1” deep socket on the top of the bushing you press it out. No heat, no messy cutting…..it falls right out. Ive done this with bushing that look like they will never come out. A few groans from the rust breaking and the press win every time.

I plan to give your method and the videos method a try on my 2004 Honda rincon 650 hopefully one of them work since I don’t want to buy 2 brand new A arms

What i like about watching your videos is you do all this stuff without fancy tools. It goes to show that a person doesnt need a thousands of dollars worth of tools to det the jobe done.great job.

I live in Minnesota. Would the shipping from Canada to the US on your Bronco parts be too much if I ordered them from you?

Great videos! One trick I have used for removing bearings/races when restoring old woodworking machines is to put the part in the freezer overnight. I just tried this on my roached out A-arms bearings and they tapped right out with a 17mm socket (pre-treated with penetrating oil before placing in freezer). Because the race is more dense than the 16ga a-arm tubing it shrinks to a greater degree.

Thanks for the videos! I had asked a question in the comment section of another video about my new rear bronco gas shocks seeming to not have rebound when pressing on back of my bike... Watching this video brought a thought and question to mind... I replaced all the bushings and bearings on a-arms and was wondering if I torqued them to tight if that would effect the rebound of shocks? Anyone in the comment section experience this?

Your doing everything the way we do it. With a stick and a rock. I love it. Can’t afford expensive tools. Do it the best way you can with what you have. 👍
