Ep 11 Keylong to Tandi conflulence - Bhaga river meets Chandra river) to Manali | Himachal Pradesh 

This is the last episode of Ladakh tour, we started our tour from Leh, went to Nubra valley, the Pangong Tso then Hanle and other destinations of Ladakh and finally ended our journey at Keylong.
After the Atal Tunnel accessibility of Keylong from Manali has increased multifold and it has become a all weather destination with easy access from Manali.
Keylong is about 355 km away from Leh and 70 km away from Manali.
Since in this tour we focussed around Ladakh so we didn’t explore Keylong, but next time when i travel to Lahaul then we will explore Keylong and Jispa more.

Below are the activities / key destinations we visited during the journey.
We booked camp at Keylong last night
Blue Pine Camps
Tariff - Rs 2,500
Tariff at this camping site was quite reasonable considering the location, we had comfortable stay here.
There are two things -
You have to climb about 150 meters to reach the site, low difficulty climb.
Food at this place is bit expensive.
Tandi is a point where the confluence of two rivers namely Chandra and Bhaga can be seen which forms the Chenab river at Tandi.
On the way back to Manali we also saw the Sissu Waterfal from long distance.
Solang Valley - Since this video was done at a time when there was flooding all cross in this region of Manali, so we halted at Solang valley only to realise that there was no tourist there, we could see the damage that this calamity brought to the nature.
We had lunch here at Chopstick Restaurant on Mall Road.Manali
Chopstick veg special - Rs 300
Food was good, this veg chopstick was just sufficient for one person as a lunch.
Though we went till Mandi but didn’t shoot our video on Youtbe for the journey between Manali and Mandi.
