Guys couple things. First off Dilli Rajdhani Supremacy🇮🇳and for Naina 🔥. So when, you Naina Ji told about the BACK (people in Delhi like ex MSVV boys like me needed to survive LOL) I died since I, SHAURMAL a Dilli BOI was an NRI who returned and now is with a Non Delhiite Chennai raised gal from the South and I’m showing this video to her to explain. Also, Naina we were RIGHT next to you in Chard last year and really respect your lifestyle choices and give you much love as budding creators who have followed your journey. No hate to Sakshi but Dilli Mai jab koi utha hai toh vibe ban jaati hai. Especially cos I SHAURMAL am half kashmiri as well. No hate to Sakshi & seconded Naina Ji on all the dang pointers and The Mahabaleshwar sexual energy hilarious as shared by Saakshi and her fam baby making scene there. My girl has told me the berries are fire tho and she would go from Chennai there to chill as well so point for Sakshi. Finally, I NEED YOU BOTH to pay attention. Me and my gal are a millennial varkala going culture supporting couple but when Sakshi said Subko and Araku are good, she could be further away from the truth. As an Indian Specialty ☕️ Coffee Content Creator (the first one in India btw), I can assure you that the two above mentioned have decent coffees but DELHI is WAY ABOVE MUMBAI in coffee. Our cafés in Dilli are WAY better and this is coming from a professional coffee reviewer! (If you don’t believe me watch my content dude!) There’s an Underground Espresso Bar in shahpur jat and trust me it will rock your socks off giving you coffee that tastes like Fruit! 🍒 Not to plug my own content and I like the Mumbai vibe cos I used to Live In NYC and am a minimalist but when Sakshi got ☕️ in I just had to step in. Literally watch ALL my short form guys and you’ll figure out how Mumbai will get slammed for having inferior products but superior marketing. That being said, much love to both and happy to hook y’all up with a home coffee setup (machine or cheaper manual brews) on any budget 🫡 (not to plug but Indians need to know there are other better drinks besides chai and I’m here to educate son!) Lastly, if you are in Dilli, come by our studio and we can record a chill pod and have some funky ☕️ brews while we’re at it. Take it easy - team informalshaurmal
Sorry, Sakshi did not put on a good fight. Mumbai is wayyy better than Delhi. Street food (there are other popular stuff than Vada paav - Misal paav, Paav Bhaji, amazing seafood thali, and kickass parsi food) Safety - as a woman working night shifts i wouldnt get scared to take a cab back home. Old world charm - colonial buildings, victorian architechture. Spirit of the people - most helpful, fun , crazy people. Sea: yes, take pride watching the sunset at narimon point overlooking the sea.
Met Naina yesterday, and today I picked this episode as my first. This debate is a hot debate amongst my friends. Delhi always wins, my friends who aren't from Delhi or Bombay like Delhi more and don't start me on Food. Delhi flavours always gives any spot you go, and Bombay you need to find the good places for tgeh flavour🔥🔥🔥
We are not at all copying Mumbai Bollywood actors. In fact we don't follow anyone. I wear whatever I feel like wearing. Sakshi has a very stereotypical view that too so so old one.
To be fair, Sakshi is really unaware about Delhi. The fact that people have terraces here is kinda normal! I don’t think it makes up anyone the queen of England😂😂 also, we have big balconies, if not terraces
(Naina speaking) I think my advantage was living in both cities for a fair amount of time. Sakshis been to Delhi only a few times. Marks to Sakshi for competing so passionately.
Sakshi sounds like a text to speech Ai. Every word is getting highlighted as she speaks with a preset emotion. A Sakshi software update is overdue. [this is for dissing Delhi]
I am from Assam. But I have lived in Delhi for 4 years and had some of the best food of my life. So team Delhi here. Although now I live in Germany. But always miss Delhi food. I visited Mumbai a few times while living in Pune for a while and the food especially the street food of Mumbai was complete trash. No offense 😬
Mumbaikars have such a superiority complex about Mumbai, when it's the most overcrowded, fucking humid city. Delhi is way better than Mumbai. Yeah safety ka issue hai but it's not like Mumbai me koi crime nhi hota😂. Also I have had such bad experiences in Maharashtra like I can't even begin. So many people are male chavunistic and always have an opinion on everything. Meanwhile, delhilites are more open to trying out of the box things.
delhi hospitality rocks because it is part of the culture. sure there are people who live with their parents and have all the resources to woo their guest but even as a student when i visited my seniors or other friends' rental homes and flats they would be super excited and super accommodating literally never letting me pay for stuff and just planning the best stuff to do. and i guess that has transferred to me. even if i have to drive fucking 100 km in and around the city, walk for hours shopping , book a busy restaurant or scout a new spot just to surprise my peeps and to make my friends feel special and taken care of I would absolutely do that coz the look of joy and carefree laugh is just too good. it is the effort that matters and delhi people will pull out all the stops within their limited means just to impress you. this is just what i learned being in delhi for like 8 years on and off. people remember how you make them feel and we want people to feel nice and loved and taken care off. and im not from delhi originally im from west UP.
Ya delhi can be unsafe then many cities but safer then many and i pretty much love delhi and maybe move to delhi for master degree Also delhi is good for creative work as you will found many studios and opportunities with that pretty good for studies because of pretty good colleges too and food sis ❤ Safety expect not save as Mumbai but personally not that unsafe that people think other then that as ladies we have to be little careful in any city so you are good to go but I feel like you can live in Noida as it is little cheaper then delhi and can up down delhi as metro service is pretty good and even delhi as many cultural places to visit
Sakshi for the first time sounded a bit dumb. When she kept on saying ‘what food is from Delhi?’ It irked me so much because she doesn’t realise that Delhi is a UT and not a part of a particular state. Here in Delhi we get amazing food from all the states of India. Unlike Mumbai, where only vada pavs and missal pav are good
Sakshi talking reminds of the insta reel where coffee shop girl offends her customer by talking with him in a weird shitty accent - 'hot koffeee.. ok roooom for creammm 🤣' Naina is pure authentic in comparison without any filters & fake accents ❣
the aqi crosses 300 sometimes in mumbai due to the construction and settles in 4-5 days because of sea breeze.Delhi pollution takes months to settle. Delhi ncr hasn't seen 150 aqi or moderate aqi since november. Only now the rain rescued delhi couple of days back. And winters is shit. People have seasonal depression during winters because you can't go out a lot. And delhi winters comes with pollution. So a big NO.
@@Nahibatanabhai I have lived in Bombay my whole life and living in Delhi since past 4 year. Winters are worst. There's so much pollution that there's no sunlight. The clothes don't dry, zero visibility while driving causing accidents and traffic, the moisture in the air ruins the house. Cold waves are unbearable even with heaters. I have an AC car, office and house which is better than Delhi winters. So yes.
This could have been a beautiful nuanced conversation about the pros and cons of delhi and bombay parsed by each of your personal stories - about your childhoods in the context of the city and about what you romanticise and what you hate about your city but y’all decided to make it competitive like every other user on twitter with a pea sized brain. Keep your episodes personal, like you have been, in the past. Remember the personal is universal. Don’t try to ride on baity debaty trends.
Delhi honestly is so low key , I’ve just come back from a party at least we didn’t have people screaming ( left left left left, centre centre , right jhendaya)
i will kid you not the first time i went to Mumbai from delhi i just thought Mumbai is one straight line you cant escape and delhi is like all over india and i love the space in delhi
Major chunk of people who choose to come to Bombay are people looking for carrier in film industry, acting, modelling etc, like yourselves; So its not totally true that EVERYBODY wants to come to Bombay. Delhi receives more migrants from North, East & other parts of India who want to make good living for themselves, its a common global phenomenon.
It's not just film industry. dude FMCG, Investment Banking, corporate offices of major Indian Banks, front end consulting and Most of the Conglomerates(Tata Birla Godrej) have their headquarters in Mumbai. Gurgaon has IT back offices, some startups. Consulting back offices and support offices of MNCs and Some headquarters like Reckitt.
I worked in delhi for 3months, enjoyed the food and dating culture. However, Rickshaw rides and travel is cheaper in Mumbai, in Delhi everyone tries to rip you off so if you're not that dependent on metro or buses it can be a hassel. You have to bargain all the time which I'm not used to.
Sakshi talking as if she's originally from Mumbai lol eating the authentic maharashtrian coastal food and stuff. We all know you go to the same pasta pizza bs shit places
While I don't care for the comparison, I know I can walk out with my girlfriend at 2 am and not feel unsafe in Mumbai, or need to breathe 450 AQI air. The traffic situation in Mumbai has been improving both anecdotally and empirically through congestion rankings. So yeah, we'll be seeing some new content from Azeem Banatwalla soon :)
ok girl when you said "jaipur is dessert" you might be to caught up in proving your unsafe city right but its atleast better than delhi and me being a mumbai person now i love this city i adapt
Well I'm from Kolkata, I worked in Mumbai (hate the city, why does it smell like fish? - yes, this is coming from a bengali. yes, I know it is the sewer but I had to say it just once). I am watching from Delhi - because work (are you seeing a pattern here?) But Kolkata ANY DAY. It is slow, it is calm. We eat, we chill. We don't take ourselves too seriously. We don't fight over billboard/storefrunt signs. The traffic wont kill you, neither will the air quality, neither will the rent. Just mid level chilling. Next level living. Also, the joy that is our politics? Bengali intellectualism ftw. Rice khao, jal khao, so jao
we’re nris so i’ve only been to delhi bc my dads family lives there. i have my thoughts on it . but now my dad is moving to mumbai for work! so this scholarly debate couldn’t come at a better time
