EDIT: I mentioned in this video that I thought cod fish was being imported into Newfoundland since the 1992 embargo. A few commenters let me know that this is not correct, and that cod is still fished locally, although in smaller numbers. Thanks for the correction!
This week we're venturing out of St. John's into rural Newfoundland. We visit the only puffin colony where you can walk right up to the birds! What a magical experience. We thought we were past iceberg season, but were surprised by some beautiful icebergs off the Twillingate coast. We are loving our exploration of The Rock!
