Avasthatraya prakriya is to show that you as Self always exists. In Sushupti you are not aware of the body, mind ,world and ego. But still you exists. Bcs you only say " I was not aware of anything but had a sound sleep. Ramana Maharishi pinpoints it as your formless state . As form we all know we exist as a body. But shastras say that YOU ARE( SELF) FORMLESS. REFERENCE IS DEEP SLEEP WHICH CLEARLY SHOWS THAT YOU WERE NOT AWARE OF YOUR BODY, MIND AND THE WORLD. THE GREATEST CONTRIBUTION OF SWAMI SATCHIDANANDA SARASWATHI IS HE HAS REFERED DEEP SLEEP AS JNANA LIKE RAMANA MAHARISHI. MOREVER EVERY STATE HAS TO BE EXAMINED AS IT IS EXPERIENCED. MISTAKE IS THAT PEOPLE THINK THAT JAGRAT IS THE ONLY STATE THAT IS REAL BCS MORE TIME IS SPENT AND IT CONTINUES FOR A LONG TIME. IF THERE IS NO BODY WHERE IS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE? SELF ALONE EXISTS AND NOTHING ELSE. NOTHING EVER HAS HAPPENED. THIS IS THE ULTIMATE TRUTH.

As deep sleep also is related to body and mind, the perceived ignorance is nothing but mithya that is again limited and pertains to the body alone and hence is witnessed by the self effulgent Sakshi, which in itself is devoid of bodily ignorance.

ಹರಿ ಓಂ ! ನನಗೆ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಮ್ಯಾಕ್ಸ್ ಪ್ಲಾಂಕ್ ನ ಮಾತು ಈ ದೃಶ್ಯ ಪ್ರಪಂಚದ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚಿಂತಿಸಿದಾಗೆಲ್ಲ ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ. Science cannot solve the ultimate mystery of nature. And that is because, in the last analysis, we ourselves are a part of the mystery that we are trying to solve. ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಶಂಕರರು ಗೀತಾ ಭಾಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕಡೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ಮಾಯೆ ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳುವ ಕೇಳುಗನ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಮಾಯೆ ಕುಳಿತಿದೆ ಎಂದು. ಇನ್ನೊಂದರ್ಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳುವುದಾದರೆ ಮನೋ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರದ ಸ್ತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದೇ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು. ಮನೋ ಮಯಕೋಶ ನಿರ್ಗುಣ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮದ ಸ್ತರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲ ಮನೋ ಕಲ್ಪಿತ. ನನಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಜನ್ಮ , ಕರ್ಮ ಸಂಯೋಗದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಿಂಚಿತ್ತೂ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ . ಕರ್ಮ, ಕರ್ಮದಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾದ ಈ ದೇಹ ಇವೆಲ್ಲ ಅನಾದಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಂದದ್ದು. ಅದು ಹೇಗೆ ಬಂತು ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಮುಖ್ಯವೇ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಆ ಜಾಲದಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದೇ ಚಿಂತನೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವುದೇ ಶಂಕರರ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಅನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

Excellent explanation it is asper the shastras only many pandits will not agree because they refer Vyakhyanakaras wherein it deviates from main Shankara Bhashya ,And Shruti .

Great disservice to advaita. Sounds more of a chaarvaaka than a Vedanti.
