I did my coaching from Kota Allen, now am an MBBS doctor. But 1 thing I promise myself that i will never-ever send my kids to Kota, to undergo extreme pressure, mental torchure & trauma. Kota creates self doubt, low self esteem. Some teachers have bad intentions towards Female students. Many students are lost in the lime- light of Drugs, Sex and Sleep. Moreover the hostel/ PG owners are the worst. They talk sweet when your parents are with you, and then finally reveal their real color once they leave. Negativity everywhere

सर ये घटना हमारे गांव में भी हुई है दो साल पहले वो लड़का भी कोटा ही पढ़ाई कर रहा था

कोटा में मेरे लिए भी सपनों का शहर जैसा लगा जब मै अपने बेटा को वहां तैयारी करने को रखा था लेकिन असली समस्या वहीं से शुरू होती है यह परिजन को रोज अपने बच्चों को बात करके यह बताना चाहिए कि पढ़ो सफल हो गए तो भी ठीक नहीं हुआ तो भी ठीक। आज सफल हो गया यह हम सब का तकदीर है। असफल होने वाले छात्रों को भी इसी तरह दुसरे जगह भी संभावना है।

Very honest analysis! My son was two years at kota. But not clear neet. He got 93% of icsc .i think he got talent. But go kota, that was our wrong decision. Because kota 's success rate maximum 5% .so i want to warn everyone take right decision. Because 95% student select to study their own place.

I can relate myself with your explanation bcz i took coaching there in 2005-07 but unfortunately could not clear medical entrance exam. but one thing must be kept in mind that whether you become an engineer/doctor or not from kota but definitely you will be successful in your life in any other field if you have really given honest effort to your subject...By the way now I am assistant professor of zoology in central university that all due to my teachers of Kota...thanks

In am also ex Kota student from 2012-2015, today I m a doctor, although I was very very avg Student. I have studied day and night there and faculty supported me too much. Even aaj bhi mujhe wo yaadein itna confidence deta hai ki ,I wish I will go there soon. But as a doc that cases u have told ,is problem of parenting(how u train ur child before in primary schooling), I was from poor family and got trained ki be brave and mitti se jura raho apne maa baap ka condition hamesa yaad rakho. I lived with my son in Kota from 2017 for 3 years. The pressure is too much. Also, there are many distracting things like drugs and cheap movies. You can buy pirated copies of 3 movies for Rs.10. So, kids get distracted and realise when it is too late. Pressure is not just on kids but also parents living with them. It is not a good city too send your 16 year old. My kid could not get through but i did see him struggle and supported him through out

Totally agree. I did MBBS nd MD Gynae. I was just average student.I gave UG pre xam with double drop in 2011-2012.but i tried my best because my aim was clear. Nd i got my PG seat without coaching.. Parents should aware of their children's behavior and give them mental support 🌸

IIT और medical दोनों का entrance cuet ug को दे देना चाहिए जोकि केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालयों में प्रवेश के लिए होती है । पाठ्यक्रम भी 12 लेवल का होना चाहिए । समय से पहले बच्चों का परिपक्व होना ठीक नहीं है।

in 2014,my nephew Mr Subham Goyal ranked SIX in JEE exam . He took coaching from Lakshay institute,Patiala. A person from Kota came to us and offered Rs Five lacs just to write a message as he has taken coaching from their institute of Kota( name of institution concealed) but we rejected his offer of five lacs and remained intact with Lakshay. They offer 5 lacs from one to ten rank, 3 Lacs to 11 to 50 rank and two lacs from 51 to 100 ranks

it's very true. i remember i was preparing iit examination in jaipur on 2013. I can't remember if i met my school friends in that year. there was no time for our habits. Just attending classes, travelling home to coaching & vice versa. This is how that whole year went with tremendous pressure. But as shams bhai says suicide is not the only way😔.

I was in kota in 2012, i have to say that there is too much pressure build up with time i quit studying after few months and started playing games instead. It was good idea instead of suicide

Mock tests me marks km aane pr sch me bachho ko categories me bat dia jata hai aur confidence ki aisi taisi ho jati hai. 😔😔. Din bhar pdhai krne k bad v lgta hai ki kuch nai pdha . Aur chhuttti k nam pr bhut sara homework mil jata hai . Parents k bharose ko dhyan me rkhte hue pdhai krne k bawjud ye lgta hai ki agr nai ho paya to sb ka viswas uth jayega . 😢😢. My son has just passed his 10th standard examination and he wanted to follow his passion and he chose arts stream. But our society is so narrow minded that the think a child can pnly be successful by choosing science stream as an option and giving these entrance exams. I am a doctor setteled in UK . I am basically from Kota and visit Kota twice a year. What you have potraid is partial story. There are two issues I have noticed first the parents are ultra rich, the son or daughter gets twenty thousand rupees a month and even more. They live in luxury apartments some of the valuce of 10.000 Rs per month especially in Rajiv Ghandi nagar. And they become drug addicts and hard core. Those who want to study do it but you have to remember the colleage and institute canot keep eagle eye on them. 24/7. What we need in these places is mental and councilling facilities. I feel I sad to listen to your naration. Please keep me unanimous

Bahut sahi baat hai sir, last year Mai bhi apane bete ko neet preparation k liye kota admission karayi thi, kyoki mera beta scl topper tha, bt jab wo coaching me pichhe hua to wo bahut depression me chala gaya tha, na to wo vapas aana chahata tha na hi competition me rah pa raha tha, in this year Mai hi kota shift ho gayi tab wo deprassion se bhi bahar aaya and vapas position la paya, mai to parents se yahi kahungi ki 10 k baad akele na bheje kota, bachche akelepan me depressed ho jate hain and kota se apane bachche ko sahi salamat vapas le ja pana hi real success hai🙏

I cracked AIEEE with AIR 1068(Gen)but I was not confident so didnot write IIT JEE that year. I have taken coaching in Akaash Institute back in 2007 and can relate the pressure situation. Completed degree from NIT Trichy and now running my own company successfully today. But I must say when I look back to the journey and the coaching I feel every bit was definitely worth it. But definitely students must introspect and discuss with their parents with an open mind and understand if really they are prepared to handle the tremendous pressure. If the answer is yes from within, they should surely give it the shot. If we fail also we should accept it with an open mind and move towards any other career of interest. It's a challenging journey ofcourse but definitely suicide is not an option at all. My younger brother is currently studying in IIT BOMBAY he is AIR 07.
