Ep 15 | GOLD RUSH THE GAME | TIER 5: FRANKENSTEIN DLC! | ON CONSOLE | PS4/5 | GAMEPLAY. Code Horizon/Discovery Inc. Released on Friday 28th May, Gold Rush The Game, based on Discovery Channel’s #1 show Gold Rush, is available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One console family via PlayStation™ Store and Microsoft Store. Console players on release will get access to all playable DLC content that the PC version offered. The objective is: work hard, dig deep, explore the world, to become the wealthiest person in Alaska. Use a variety of specialist machines to find as much gold as possible.
Episode 15: Utilising a hotspot on the claim and running through the gear to get enough money for some Tier 5 upgrades. Will it be worth it?

Don’t worry about that. It’s a glitch, almost every time u come into the game it says 10 days to summer, then once you go past midnight it corrects itself. Keep on mining!!! Loving this series!!

small tip : if you sell or return a leased vehicle, take of all the spare parts before you do so. that way you don't have to spend as much on breakdowns

I've been playing this game alongside your videos and its been great to watch. Shame you've given up on it after the move :( I'm just starting winter on my first season and going to buy tier 4 gear and store it until I buy the next parcel. I hope you give this ago again sometime but I kinda figured that once you moved and got the frankenstein you'd done everything you needed.

I know you played farmers dynasty i think you should try lumberjack dynasty its not what you would expect from dynasty games and it has that elongevity you crave its worth the play even if you dont put it on utube. Love the vids keep it up

You can select the squares that you drilled and it will highlight the square on the ground. Might help with seeing where you need to go

If you sleep it will reset the day and weather type to where you left off last save, I have same problem and the devs know about it already and will be updated in the new patch. I hen ever that will be. Love the content ❤️

I’m having horrible luck on river town. Drilled the entire plot (checkerboard style). Best spot 3800grams of gold. On old Arnold I had spots up to 8000-9000 grams. I’m thinking of just grinding to get the next claim instead of focusing on upgrading the plant first. I’m having 1500gram clean outs

In the drill sample screen, click on the square you and hit toggle square. Its bottom right on the screen, it will highlight that square in the mining pit.

You need to highlight the drilled squares you want by clicking on them in the map, and then clicking the toggle square button on the right at the bottom. Then it will show up in game as a reference for you.

You could lease the Frankenstein conveyor and call it a demo. If you like it then buy it or just return it. I have seen others with up to five or six of them feeding directly into the washplant

You could go T5 on all plots leaving the setup in place. That's one way of spending the gold

A *realistic upgrade* for this game are if you drive over unprotected cables/cords and hoses then they will be damaged. Think on that MrSealyP! :D

If you drive on the ends of the cords or hoses they will snap happened to me. IRL depending on the wheels and size you could roll over a cord and not damage it

@@shaneduran2186 With a steel tracked machine? And we at Fire Dep't can't drive over our own pressurized hoses and cords often on hard or stoney surface. Have a nice Sunday!

I tried searching the web no luck, both my consoles XBOX ONE X/ PS4 PRO have the same bug when drilling , I drill out most if not all of old Arnold with fair gold results, when i drill nighthawk or pine river no gold shows up all grey, tried uninstalling and deleting saves with no luck , I did email support a day or so ago, also asked why no gold nuggets when drilling, so far no issues on PC.

The console version must be an older version than the pc version. Because, I have three mechanics on one site and I can slow the time scale down to real time. Slowing time down to real time completely changes the game. Hardly ever getting breakdowns because mechanics have time to fix things. Fuel usage is dramatically reduced, and of course you can get more done each day and the seasons last longer. My highest season result before slowing the time down was around 56k of gold, since slowing the time, I've made three times that in the last 24 hours.

You can highlight a grid on the map that will show up on your plot so you know exactly where to dig

Did you see your little jar of gold in the tent tells you how much you mined last season, shame giants do not have the rights so you can then have mods and map mods like FS19 also they could overhaul the game to play better
