This is a huge amount of work! What you end up with is a G60H look, sitting upon a GQ chassis and running gear. Which begs me to ask - would it have been easier, less work to simply(?) apply the GQ running gear to a G60 chassis?
There are definitely easier ways to go about this project however this will look, drive and feel like an OEM vehicle. It wasn't just to motor and driveline swap a g60 but also the unbeatable suspension setup of solid axle front and rear with coils all round. Not only that, but by using a more modern firewall and floorpan the bolt up stage for master cylinders, steering column, seats ect ect becomes simple. And to top it off, I can now purchase OEM products for any part of the car unlike a G60 patrol.
