As for the Nicki part, I wholeheartedly agree. There might have been things said between Spice and Minaj that they didn't see eye to eye on things, which led to the steep decline of theirbusiness relationship. However, I can see the relationship rekindling within a few months. I would also like to add the fact that Nicki didn’t speak on the matter when those texts did get leaked, with 'ish like that you'd expect for her to say smth but she surprisingly didn’t. I can give Nicki props for her turning the other way and focusing on her tour when that whole thing went down, since Ice's ex bsf kept @'ing Nicki on Twitter to get a reaction out of her.

I agree about what Armon said about how the new girls not afraid to come at the top older rap girls that’s been out. That’s because the music industry, especially in hop hop and especially female rap has lower the bar. Anybody with a bbl and wig can be a rapper now. They even getting awards that they haven’t even work hard for. When 10 years ago the industry wouldn’t even accept low album sales or not let them perform if they didn’t have stage presence. Now they just throw these girls at us with no media training, no stage presence and no authentic and talent. Times definitely changed

Idk why people are disagreeing. Cardi got comfortable and slowed down. It’s not all her fault because I remember people telling her she could and it’d be fine which was very naive to assume. Yeah, she was set for life financially but to tell her she could sit back and stay on the top spot as long as she liked was ridiculous. She had a wild amount of momentum behind her and she suddenly gave it up as soon as she reached a top position. People were exited for her only for it to go nowhere. People are much less likely to invest energy and money in her now knowing she can halt everything at any point. It’s not as exciting to support her as it once was because we know we can build her up and then *nothing*.

@lobi5104 it’s not just about the album, it’s about sales and streams, chart placement, and few other factors they considered when ordering the list. Even without the album, Cardi’s singles haven’t done as well as they once would have.
