hello, best of luck with your adventures! I have a quick question regarding your ride from China border to Islamabad, do you know why there were so many police checkpoints and why they actually did not let you ride? I am planning to ride Karakoram Highway from Kashgar to Islamabad in September and would like to avoid getting lifts by police as much as possible, thanks in advance.
