Fantastic podcast! I listened while I was working today. Two things, I think I may have been the person on QRP that Vaughn mentioned. That was quite a serendipitous occasion. I had just received a new QRP radio and was testing it out on 10 meters, I had literally just turned it on and keyed up thinking that I was on my dummy load, so I was saying something dumb like "aw yeah audio!" And this dude comes back to me 😄 turns out they just happened to be activating a park a few miles up the road. Next thing I know the guy is sending me a video signal report for two of my radios. I thought that was so cool, PotaPower rocks! With regard to the FT-8 discussion, I do a bit of FT-8 and wasn't triggered at all. I really don't care if people don't like the modes that I use. It gets boring pretty quickly, but I do love to load up GridTracker and see what the map looks like on FT-8 before I switch to other modes. It's a good tool for checking propagation. However, I absolutely understand why people think it's lame.
