Dua referenced: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "One of Prophet Dawud's supplications was: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka hubbaka, wa hubba man yuhibbuka, wal-'amalalladhi yuballighuni hubbaka. Allahumm-aj'al hubbaka ahabba ilayya min nafsi, wa ahli, wa minal-ma'il-baridi (O Allah! I ask You for Your Love, the love of those who love You, and deeds which will cause me to attain Your Love. O Allah! Make Your Love dearer to me than myself, my family and the cold water)."'
Alhamdulillah for the love of Al-Wadood. No one loves us the same way, with all our flaws and mistakes. Not our parents, spouses, siblings, or children. He is more loving to us than a mother to a newborn baby. We are never alone or rejected so long as we worship the One Almighty Allah.
JazakumAllah kheiran sheikh fi mizan hasanatkum Aameen.🤲 Three ways to gather the love of Allah SWT and to come closer to him. 1-To ask Allah SWT for his love 2- To look out for the attributes of Allah SWT in the quraan and see what Allah SWT loves and try to develop those attributes af Allah SWT. For example Allah loves the people of Taqwa, people of Tawabeen, Muhsineen, Mutatahireen and the people who follows the Sunah of prophet Mohammed SAW 3-To increase our worship to Allah SWT by doing voluntary actions until Allah loves us ❤The more we need the love of Allah SWT the more we care the more we concern to following of the Sunah of RosoolAllah SAW. May Allah Al wadood guide us all and give his love Aameen.🤲.
This name of Allah (SWT) Al Wadood is truly unique. It's not humanly possible to love someone who especially messes a lot or messed up badly. Yet its comforting for such folks ( I am among those too because I'm not too good ) this name exists. This idea that there is a God who loves me when I'm at times despicable is a proof of Allah's love.
Ask Allah swt for His love. Increase your Taqwā and follow the beloved Prophet (saw). Come closer to Al Wadood by increasing voluntary worship and good deeds. Only Allah swt will always love you no matter what. His love is endless, deepest and most forgiving.
I am afraid… I had wronged someone dear to me a few months before. I have been praying a lot of voluntary prayers and making a lot of duas for Allah’s help to soften the person’s heart. Hearing that Umar RA and even Rasulullah SAW himself also do not forgive the people who have wronged them scares me, because what if it is the same case for me…
