Instrumentation for local anesthesia are:- Dental syringe Types of dental syringe usually used in dental clinic are basal loaded or lateral loaded and the component of dental syringe are needle adapter, piston with harpoon , syringe barrel ,,finger grip and thumb ring on dental needle .. components of needle are bevel ,shank , hub , syringe adapter and syringe penetrating end ..finally the cartilage components are cylinder , plunger and diaphragm with the volume 1.8ml and different types with epinephrine or non epinephrine Topical anesthetic agent which used before the local anesthesia given to reduce pain.
